The photo shows our hotel room in Nungarin where we stayed at Easter. W were there to see the old World War II searchlight in operation.
It’s an old country hotel with no ensuites but toilets and showers down the corridor. There was a wardrobe against the wall opposite the bed.
I liked the mosquito net arrangement although we didn’t need to use it. It might have fallen apart if we’d tried to move it. It's the sort of place that should have had its own ghost.

I wouldn't like a hotel room without an ensuite. I wouldn't have thought to check and make sure there was a bathroom included in the room. I've never ran into that in the US.

I thought that is what it was. Nice room, quaint looks like the bed is made very well.

How do you know it doesn't have ghosts? They might have looked at the two of you and decided you both needed rest more than the ghosts needed the fun of scaring you.

I love the pink lamp! It would be perfect in our “pink” family room. I’ve stayed in hotels with mosquito netting, but it didn’t seem sanitary to me. Hubs always wanted one for our four poster guest room bed, but to me it’s a dust collector, although very pretty.
