It has been a long time

Good night friends. It has not been lack of love but lack of a laptop my failure to come here. My laptop is practically dead and only today I have been able to waken it up enough so that I can write. Let´s hope it lasts until I finish my post. The laptop finally opened up like a laughing monster. The screws that held it together vanished and I could only find a couple of them, not enough, to hold the back to the rest. Worse still, I had no money to buy a new one. This month I had to pay taxes and next I´ll have to pay a big amount in my credit card. But when I told this to Camila (Dixie´s daughter who will go with me to Aruba in August) she told me that her daughter had a new one that she did not use. Camila´s daughter is studying in one of the few good free highschools left in my country. And our last president gave several expensive tools to those students including a laptop for each. For most of those students that was a heaven sent. But Violeta (Camila´s daughter) already had a better laptop given to her by my friend Humberto, her grandfather. So she never used it as she was used to her old one. And this evening, Camila came running with the laptop in between work and a working trip to Mexico. So I have a new laptop, friends! Isn´t that wonderful? I still will have to make it work in such a way that I can have access to my Bank account, to mylot and a couple of other places. It won´t be easy as I don´t remember any of my passwords. I will have to start by telling the new laptop that I forgot the passwords and make other again. But that is better than to lose everything. Diego, my grandson, will try to help me there. This post is mainly to tell all of you that I remember you and that I miss you. And I´ll finish it before this old laptop decides to close. Sleep tight.
