That is my raspberry patch planter The tulips bulbs were added 8 years ago It is not in my garden proper Here is a garden picture

@Ineeddentures So over the summer it becomes a nice little wilderness area.

No, no vegetables Anne We are away most of the summer so we let the grass, the trees, the wild flowers and the weeds grow And of course the raspberries

@JudyEv Basically yes Just let it grow We are not there to do anything with it except maybe cut grass between trips

@Ineeddentures I always took the pictures up close of tulips and other flowers, One spring I was walkign around the garden looking for signs of spring, My husband came to the door and asked me what I was doing and I said hoping to see some tulips pop up and then he said look straight down between your feet and there was a red tulip head,

@Ineeddentures This also is so beautiful. We are planning to renovate our house as it's a old one, and we need a more spacious house with a space for a garden.

All I will do is cut the grass once more before we go on holiday I will cut it right down so it's bare. Then by July it will be all grown again and it might get cut before September Then it's just about picking Raspberries Most the green plants you see on that picture are new Raspberry growth It will be a bumper crop this year Gardens are fine when you can keep working them But if you have to stop it can get out of hand

They are indeed I have attached some pictures to most of the replies lol if you want to see just how rustic it really is

Tulips are easy to grow. Put bulbs in earth And wait till April every year They multiply lol

That's just the rustic raspberry patch at the entrance. Not in the actual garden But it looks ok and it was built with scrap wood as well Here is a garden picture
