If you are Gen X then you get the reference to the old Carmen Sandiego game. If you read my stuff regularly then you'll have noticed I've been writing fewer posts per day and they've been pretty generic. Well the past 2 months have not been quiet or generic for me. Nope. If you remember I was having some health issues during the winter and wound up in the ER and admitted to the hospital back in early March. My platelet level was very dangerously low and I wound up having to have a transfusion before they could do an endoscopy. That procedure showed all sorts of issues. . . . . . so I wound up voluntarily checking into residential rehab for alcohol. I am still here and will be getting back to the apartment next week. In all honesty this whole thing has been overblown and a bit unnecessary but it has given me time to rest, take the GI meds, and get better along with learning some new skills. So that's the very abridged version of what I've been up to lately. It has been a good experience but I am definitely ready to get out of here and back to real life. I miss my cats. I haven't seen them in 2 months. Now that the cat is out of the bag (no pun intended) I'll have lots of posts sharing my experiences here. A few people here have known where I am. It wasn't something I widely broadcast either online or offline. Oh well now you know.
