Nothing much to say

Here’s something different. I’m stuck for words. I don’t have anything entertaining to write about. So I’ll write about food and a funny expression I heard. I’m on a soft diet now. For dinner, I had mashed potato in a bowl with an egg cracked into the middle and microwaved. Dessert was ice-cream, custard and peach juice. I could probably have had the peaches if I’d mashed them but I didn’t bother. And a funny expression I heard on a TV programme was about something going ‘up and down like fiddler’s arms’. The photo is mine.

It's always interesting to talk about food. I hope you feel better and soon you can go back to normal food. I never heard that funny expression.

That was the kind of diet they put my nephew on after his tonsils were removed. Can you eat scrambled eggs? I'm not sure if those would be considered soft exactly.

I don’t think I’ve heard that expression before.

I feel much like you do today, nothing much to say. Harper just facetimed with me, and that is an all listen (for me) chat. She was building something with her blocks and chatting about the new shoes that she got yesterday. She went through a growth spurt, her other shoes were only about 5 or 6 weeks old. Enjoy the soft foods. I think that later today I will make soup for my lunches next week. They warm me up-we are still experiencing below average temperatures.

I've never heard that expression before. It's a lovely photo. It reminds me of a park in Monett, about 12 miles away from us where our family reunion was always held until after dad passed away. I love peaches. I would have mashed them up and enjoyed them along with the peach juice.

I am glad that recovery is on a firm footing. AI says - "Up and down like a fiddler's elbow" (or sometimes "in and out...") is an idiom used to describe a person or thing that is constantly in motion, extremely busy, or acting very restlessly.

I have nothing to add to that.

It sounds pretty good. I would have eaten the peaches though...good fiber. Is your headache gone?
