Humble lentil and potato soup wasn't good enough for supper. I just had to make the simple one egg cake that I have made a million times. And frosting. Hubby just managed to take it from its pan and slid it onto a dinner sized plate.
Got it. It is here. I have wanted some form of art to grace my white plastered bedroom wall. I've looked at countless art sites then a brain wave snapped into my mind: daughter paints and draws. Pay her!!! Have her send something. For sure the postage cost was interesting and not for a weak stomach. It is here. Two canvases- tomorrow I will tack them side by side and have a complete scene. Large and small dragonflies skimming the oh so blue sky and forested islands below. The wings are painted with iridescent paint so they will glisten in sunlight. Best of all, a piece of daughter will be with me.

I made lentil soup last week, and we enjoyed it. It's good to jazz up dinnertime with cake or a treat sometimes. Hope it was good!
I hope you can post a picture of your new art work when you get it hung up. And yes, it's wonderful that the art work is done by the daughter, I agree.
