A mystery this morning, well actually I noticed this yesterday, but didn't call friend until this morning. Friend and son had a truck towed down here to be worked on, but I went by that garage yesterday, and didn't see the truck in the garage or on the property. That is worrisome. I might have missed it .but I did look it over pretty thoroughly. I called friend this AM to see if he had talked to the mechanic/ owner. He said he hadn't spoken to him, but will put a call in I would have definitely followed up with them to make sure they had the vehicle. I hope it is there some place.

Thank you, well it isn't really my issue, but it would be terrible if the truck is other than where they had it towed to.

I hope I just missed it when I was scanning the lot, or it was parked somewhere not visible from the road..I have no idea.

@MarieCoyle Well, of course, but it is not really my business. Friend called and found out they had a personal emergency and are out for two days. I think he could double check with the towing service and insurance company though and verify it was delivered there.

Can you find out by calling them? This would worry me a lot if it was my truck and extra engine. I hope the mystery is solved soon.

I wonder if they had to "farm it out" for some specialty work, or if possibly they have an off site vehicle storage lot.

Hard to say when friend called he said they were out of town on a personal emergency. They were working yesterday though...maybe it was something that just came up.

Geez, I hope so. I don't know where else it could be. Unless the towers took it to their garage or something, It better be located.

I hope so. I went by because I hoped they were working on it. If they had it done by the end of this week or Monday, son said he would come down for Mother's Day, If it isn't, he probably won't..and I could use his handyman skills..You know better than most how some offspring can be though.

I know..tempted to go by there again today, and see if I see it..they might still be open even if the main guy isn't there. I could ask someone about it I guess.However, I don't know. I have other stuff to do today, and it isn't that close.

That's what I hope, that I missed it somehow. There were probably 15 or 20 onsite and I didn't hang around looking at all them, but it was more than a cursory glance. I had a pretty good idea of what was there.
