Oh wait, that's not true, someone very special to me did ask where I had been.
I had a week off
Or a wee cough
Both
Lol
Haven't been anywhere
Haven't done much
Have booked a holiday though
Yvonne is fine, keeping well, upbeat
The weather has not been good, cold, it went down to about 8C today and it was windy
Got a lot to do over the next few days , give a bike a good service before we go.
So that's me for the last week

I recall the ground was really hard.
Walking miles behind a tractor with a big wooden trough on the back
It might have been March
But we still get frost on May when the plants are well through the ground
Somewhere in Scotland was minus 10C not long ago

You are joshing with me, I'm a farm boy lol
We used to plant tatties in April in minus temperatures and the frost never bothered them and then picked them in October in minus temperatures
I had no idea potatoes would be sensitive to frost these days,
Even potatoes are not as hardy as they once were
And I think to myself, it's a wonderful world
