Up on the Gondola

Years ago, when Pretty was a teenager, we went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to sight see and had a good time. (I can't remember what we did but do remember we enjoyed ourselves.) Depending on what I'm doing, I can be acrophobic as well as claustrophobic. I can manage heights as long as I'm enclosed in something but if it's too tight, then I get claustrophobic, too. I enjoy the lower heights of a Ferris wheel but don't want to be on top of the wheel if it stops moving. Same with roller coasters. And whatever those bouncy things are called. I only went on those things because Pretty wanted to ride them... I've been wearing jean shorts and tank tops since the middle of April.

I always like being up high. So whatever kind of day it is, I like to experience being inside the Gondola and enjoy watching the beautiful view. You are lucky! and you dare to conquer your fears. Hands up! you've been rewarded by a great view.

I haven't been in that area in some time, it's always so scenic to see a sunset like that. Pigeon Forge in general can seem so very congested at times, but much of it is worth the trip. I am glad you are having a good time!

As I read gondola I thought you went to Venice (Italy), it was an aerial gondola. My husband refuses to get on those.
