I meant to post about this before I got ill but obviously I forgot as I wasn't fully engaging with myself properly. I don't know why I remembered it now I am just sitting here after dinner watching shite TV and it just occurred to me , hey Jimbo you need to ask the good people of mylot whether for them it is/was lights on or lights off lights off saved money and was excellent when I didn't really want to look at someone lol But when I met Yvonne my electric bill shot up....

The only room I ever leave the light on for is the one I’m in at the moment. The rest of the house the lights are off.

Depends if it's light or dark outside really lol. We don't have many windows that bring in sunlight either

Aye. Real love during cost of living crisis means rely on body heat to stay warm. I'm fine with that lol

Lights off at daytime. We have a lamp at nighttime

We watch TV with the light on if that's what you mean. We turn lights off once we leave a room.

I'm used to having the lights on, but in certain rooms I've installed electrical tape that can light up when it's dark.

@Ineeddentures Yes, the tape can absorb light and that can save on electrical usage.

Light off all the time during daylight, light on when the sun sets.

I don't like lights too bright, To make sure it is not completely dark when I got to sleep I ahve red and greed light from my LED clock by my bed and across the room a string of purple lights, Just enough to see what is around me,

Now that's a good idea An LCD clock really can give us enough light to see what we are doing. I find now though after 5 years in this apartment that I can manage quite well in total darkness

Life is like that. My lights are on. I don't have anyone to share my life with other than the people here, but that's okay. My lights are always on, even on the darkest night when my eyes are closed and the utility bill isn't pushing up the watts.

Hahahahahaha! When I was young, I always wanted my room a little darker just like how I used to watch those kids on the drama. But I as I got old it gave me a headache, so I always work and read with lights on, I hate dimlight.
