Big fan of dried fruit even though the sugar content of dried fruits is high.
Among the different types of dried fruits, my favorite is dried mangoes. I discovered the dried mangoes from Thailand which was spicy and saltier than the regular variety. I was surprised that it was available at a nearby grocery. I bought two packs.
Much to my dismay, these dried mangoes were neither spicy nor salty. These were just regular dried mangoes despite the advertising in the packaging.
What a disappointment! What was a purchase that turned into a disappointment for you?

I love dried fruit but try to get the no-sugar-added variety... Not Diet. Those taste nasty! Just the ones without added sugar. Those are good... I like dried peaches, dried apricots, dried apples, dried cherries and dried bananas.
I've tried dried mangoes but wasn't impressed with them.

I used to eat a lot of dried fruit. I'm not into salt but enjoy a good sugar in things. Lying on packages should be outlawed.
I ordered something for dinner and when it got here I wasn't hungry for it anymore. Can't return it.

That’s one of my favorite snacks too. But it seems I haven’t tried the one in the picture you posted. It’s a shame it didn’t meet your expectations since it wasn’t as spicy as the packaging claimed. I already enjoy the regular sweet dried mangoes.

@allen0187 Oh yes, one of my favorites as well. I enjoy dried green mangoes, but I rarely find those truly green ones with that perfect sweet and sour taste; most of them end up tasting mostly sweet.

No sugar or diet drinks are a scam if you ask me. Doesn't taste like the real thing and is nowhere near the benefits that they offer since it is sugar-free or is a diet-version.

you are right about sugar content but sometimes we can't help ourselves. i am glad they weren't spicy cause i really don't like when something is dried and spicy as well. disappointment, hm, i had a few experiences on this. i think a korean kimbap. it was too pricey and it had only a few pieces to eat and i ate them very fast and they didn't allow me to choose do i want a meat one or a veggie one. i ordered it through app and i said never again. as for the taste, hm, i think i burried many negatives inside me
