Peaches or Nectarine?

For those that don't know or aren't familiar with the fruit..nectarines in essence are a fuzz less peach. I like peach fuzz better and peaches can be really sweet. I have never had a really sweet nectarine..so another reason to like peaches better. I am currently eating a nectarine, that I wish was a peach.

I love a good nectarine. Peaches are really good, but I’d prefer a nectarine.

I just have never found a nectarine that is as good a as peach can be. I remember when I was a kid, we went to a fruit farm probably just a bit South or maybe North of the New York State border..kind of a growing area...I had the best peach of my life there. I wonder if that fruit stand is still in business. It would be worth a drive, next time I am in town.

The fuzz sometimes puts me off having a peach ...I find it a strange texture.

I like the peach fuzz. I find it unique..and to me it seems the fuzzier the peach, the better it tastes/

I only know peaches. Not familiar with nectarine. I also know about the song entitled 'Peaches' by the American alternative band Presidents of the United States of America.

I generally find peaches to be a more juicy fruit than a nectarine is.

I like nectarines because I have an allergy to the skin of peaches. I had very sweet nectarines, those coming from Spain are as sweet as peaches. I like also the very large yellow peaches, if someone is nice enough to peel them for me.

@snowy22315 - I cannot touch the peaches, I get terribly itchy rash on my hands.

I buy them when they are in season. I will probaly be up in PA in August, peach season. I sort of think that fruit farm is not there any more, or I will ask my mom. She will probably know. If not there are others. One f the roads that follows the lake shore is filled with fruit farms and stands.
