Inspection Complete

Inspection complete! The guy who came to inspect was a nice change from the last two inspectors. He is still with them on not noticing I have no hot water. Once again, the water in my apartment breaks my skin out in a rash, so it doesn’t matter that there is no hot water. I told them three times to fix it, and three times they made a mess and didn’t fix it. I gave up on them. I just wish we could get new pipes. I had the water tested with the city, but they didn’t detect anything. They also said they don’t test for everything out there.
Then, I got Diana, and we went to the post office near me that has delivery people who are too lazy to bring my packages to the door. It was stuff to review, and I took Diana because one thing was a rug, and my back was acting up once more.
Hey, gas is down to $3.59 a gallon!

I can imagine how irritating and concerning the water issue has become after so long.
Diana proved to be a big help with the rug, yea for her hellp! 
I don't even look at the price of gas anymore. My hubs drives the vehicle most of the time and keeps the tank filled.
But......on a positive note, another Canadian member posted about a class action lawsuit for the Great Canadian Bread Settlement, which I applied for, under both my hubby's email as well as my own. I mean it isn't like he hasn't bought bread during that time frame the settlement covered.
We both received $49.11 into our accounts. I have my own account due to work, and share an account with him.

I’m so sorry you can’t get any answers on the water. I can’t imagine even thinking about drinking it!! 
They will not be giving Louisville reformulated gasoline this year because of new EPA rollbacks, so our gas prices shouldn’t spike. That’s probably hurting the gas stations in southern Indiana, which don’t have the RFG. They probably got a ton of business in the summer from Louisville drivers going over the bridges to save 50c a gallon.

Well, that is over with for now. I do not know if there is any kind of a filtering, softening system that can be attached to a shower. I just feel bad that you have no hot water and basic things but these people make a profit off of you.

I’m glad that’s over. I always pass the few inspections we have but it’s still additional stress I don’t need.
I think I mentioned this once before and you probably know this, but it’s a state law that hot water must be provided. If it’s reported and they do nothing, you can go to code enforcement. And, by the same law, if the problem is not resolved you are allowed to hire someone to fix the problem and deduct the entire expense from your rent. It’s ridiculous that you have gone so long without hot water. You deserve better. I wish there was somewhere else you could live!!

Inspections are never fun....but that is good it is done. Sorry about the whole water thing, and the package thing.
Down to? Ours is around that price, well 10 cents more at some places!
