Show-casing my friends' roses

I wrote about Vince having to give a talk about photographing roses. While we were at our friend’s place, I took my own photos of their roses. When they had a 5-acre property near us, they had well over 100 roses and on their small suburban block they still have 30. They’ll be hoping to do well at the Rose Show which happens in October.

@judyev Those are beautiful. I have only 1 rose bush, a white, and it’s gone wild (8 feet tall) and right now it has a shock of white blooms nodding about in the wind.

That’s really amazing. I admire people who, can by any means, grow roses like that, and keep them healthy for even a couple of days. Your friend’s roses are especially beautiful.

@JudyEv You're very welcome. Did you ask about the rose bush with the yellowing leaves? I think, but could be mistaken, that it's suffering from improper watering or stress from the heat.

Roses are gorgeous. Even better if they have a nice scent, the unscented ones are always rather a disappointment.

@JudyEv it really is. i was reading about yin and yang colours and it said the yellow is between ying and yang and it means balance between these two, which is cool to hea and, of course, being a cheerful colour

Beautiful roses and I love the vibrant yellow color, I loved the roses I had in my garden in Latvia a friend of ours planted them and one year we even had a pink and white one,
