Eat it all, and it’s free.

There is a restaurant in Oklahoma called Kendall’s that has a chicken fried steak dinner challenge. You can see in the picture what it is: a huge chicken friend steak with grace, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, a biscuit, a side salad, and a cinnamon roll. If you can eat it all, it’s free. The last person to do it (not in this picture) was a thin, 30 something woman. I would not even try it. Would you? Do you have a restaurant food challenge near you? *Picture is from Facebook by Kendall’s restaurant

I wouldn't even try it. I can't eat that much. I'm heavy, but it's not from eating non-stop. A lot of mine is hormonal, and of course what I eat. I instantly thought of my son, though, my kid sometimes will eat all day and be able to eat a huge dinner, and he's super thin, but he's also super active. I always tell him he should try an eating challenge, but it really would depend on the day; he goes through times when he can eat a ton, and then barely eats other times. We would have to catch him in his hungry phase. I see all kinds of eating challenges around. We have one in my hometown where there's a gyro challenge. Their food portions are already really large, and my husband and I have to share a gyro from them, so you know the challenge gyro has to be even larger.

I have heard of a taco, steak, and sandwich challenge, but never a gyro challenge.

@AmbiePam The gyros are amazing, but they're huge. I feel like they decided to start doing it due to their already large portion sizes and felt they could make one bigger. Ironically, most of the people who have completed the challenge really haven't been super large people. It seems healthier than a lot of the other challenges going around. Gyros are typically meat and vegetables.

I would not try that, it seems like an enormous amount of food, and I am not a huge gravy lover. Last night my hubs mentioned how quickly Harper devoured the chocolate cupcake that he brought to them that I baked. I just laughed and told him that we should enter her into a hot dog eating contest, she'd win, and then enter her into a burping contest, for right after......she would win that too.

@AmbiePam She might be small but she is mighty, and a quick tongue to answer you if you are close enough that she would feel comfortable with saying what is on her mind. But I do love her honesty.

NOpe I wouldn't. Over eating is something that I don't do anymore. My son and I were discussing about the food servings in the US and how huge they were in restaurants. And he said, no wonder a lot of them are overweight.

I would not even try to eat it all …. A very very few places here have that sort of challenge but it’s not really a thing here.

None that I know of. And although I almost always have a pretty good appetite, that would be beyond me.

No, thank you! Yes, we have a fast-food burger chain that offers that. If one can eat a burger with 8-10 burger patties in 10 minutes, it is free then

There is no way I could eat all that. I haven't heard of such challenges here.
