Enjoying a Beautiful Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a beautiful sunny morning here in my little corner of the myLot world. Temperatures have dropped after our thunderstorms last night. Thankfully we didn't get any severe storms.
The weekend was basically uneventful unless you call shopping for groceries and bargains fun 
We did a big shopping, went to two different supermarkets and spent more than anticipated. Neither store had everything we wanted and both had sales/coupons that we wanted to take advantage of. Needless to say it was tiring but now the refrigerator and pantry is full and we probably won't need to do another shopping for the next two weeks. Hopefully not having to go back for anything will offset the expense,
All these rising prices is so depressing. I don't really want to get off on a rant since we're all struggling.
Since I don't spend much time here on the weekends I am having my second cup of coffee and seeing what I missed
Hope you had a good weekend, did something fun and your Monday is going well.

So depressing. I so agree. Food is my one joy left to me so I order what I want. But luckily it isn't hurting me too much financially yet. I hope that is the same for you.

Yes im able to enjoy what I like to eat but lobster, caviar and other things are not on my list

It's just so hard being a savvy shopper. The time it takes is crazy buy with prices what they are it's not smart to just ignore sales and coupons for stuff you use,

I can relate to the sadness at the grocery store.
It is kind of odd that the 2 or 3 places that we will do take out from, hasn't raised their prices.
Surely they are paying more for their ingredients too, but I just smile and am thankful.
Nothing exciting here today.
I worked a very short day because I had to take my husband to the doctor.
He has a bacterial infection in his eye.
He has blood pooled in his right eye, it has been there for a couple of weeks.
They checked him over quite well, no hemorrhage, but it is swollen and infected.

Our weekend was uneventful ….quite a change for us so it was nice to have quiet days.
Weather is okay here today , we had lots of wind over the weekend.

The war is really affecting the prices of everything. I just hope it ends soon because this is depressing. The money is going out fast and little is coming in. It's terrible
