You know, the other day I was asking what was peoples favourite pudding or dessert …..
I gave a short list of my favourites …..
I missed one of my most favourites and one which is most definitely a bowl of comfort and love.
What am I talking about ….?
Bananas and custard …..
I bought some bananas at the weekend and as it’s getting a bit chilly here I thought ….you know what you could do with ….a bowl of bananas and custard.
I just had one and oh my days …I do feel better now.
Is bananas and custard a dessert you would have ?

Bananas and custard is a favourite of mine, but not when it’s chilly. Then I prefer sponge pudding and warm (bordering on hot!) custard.

@traceyjayne I’m none too fond of bananas. Custard on most other things is perfect so long as it’s not pink custard with a thick skin on it, poured over coconut and jam sponge - school pudding from P1 and I hated it.

Now that sounds like proper comfort food ??
Bananas and custard really is one of those simple desserts that somehow feels way more comforting than it has any right to be.

That sounds good. It would be like a piece of banana cream pie.

It is a good dessert, been a long time since I made it. I try to limit our desserts here as the son is diabetic. But who doesn’t enjoy a good dessert at times? Yum!

Oh, yes, how could I forget banana pudding? I make that once in a while for Pretty and I. We'd have it more often if she didn't eat all the Vanilla Wafers (cookies) that go in the banana pudding.
