Well, that didn't work out as planned.

Like many people, I pay some bills online. The power bill is one of those. I've done that for a long time now--I could have it automatically taken out, but they don't always honor the day you request it to come out of your account...and have taken it out a few times at the end of the month, not after payday. That just doesn't work. So, I mark my phone calendar and pay it myself. No problems...but I had a problem today. I went on the site, did the necessary ID's (I guess I have to prove every time that I am ME--like someone else wants to pay my electric bill?) and it said it took the payment, and the receipt would be sent to my email, as per usual. And THEN, it went to the main page of paying the bill, saying ''Do you want to pay a bill?'' It's never done that, ever. I called their office, and they have no record of payment yet online. But they told me not to pay it again, to wait until at least tomorrow, and if I didn't get the email, to call them. For some reason, my crazy tired brain thought of Rosanne Rosanna Danna on the old Saturday Night Live shows. ''It's always something! If it's not one thing, it's another! And yes, I am aware of how long ago that was.

That’s so frustrating. I wouldn’t like the uncertainty either.

I can’t pay it twice, so I will take their advice and wait until tomorrow.

I bet it will be squared away by tomorrow, but that would concern me too if it looked like my payment hadn't gone through

I am simply hoping that it did go through. It’s not pending on my online banking yet, but that isn’t always immediate.

That’s only for Mr. Richard Fanner from Fort Lee, New Jersey to deal with (that was the person who always wrote the letters to Roseanne on SNL…same person all the time)! [em]lol[//em] Hope you get that fixed quickly.

She was so much fun to watch! I hope it’s fixed soon, too. Plus if the storms hit the power will be down anyway and their phone lines will be flooded with calls.

That is nerve-wracking, they must be having technical difficulties with their website. I can just remember her from SNL, she was something else, so very talented with such a quick sense of humour.

That must not have been fun at all. I liked Roseanne.
