Neither Bob nor I are really good with the millions of video selections. In fact, I think the way it is set up is designed to confuse you.
We only subscribe to Amazon Prime, and we get video with that. Earlier this spring, two different months, we subscribed to other services. Not on purpose. I found out when I got e mails about renewals being done--No way is that happening.
All in all we were out about $35.
Recently I have come out of the dark ages and set my bank account up to be seen online. I check it every day or so.
For another reason, I needed to check it tonight. There was a new video subscription. I know it was not me, but was Bob. He did not mean to.
Luckily I found how I could go in to cancel it, and I did.
It is easy enough to get fooled and click the wrong tab. When I went to the cancellation page it asked the reason and offered the choice of "accidental subscription". I know we are not the only ones.

I know what you mean since if I am not careful, I can make error subscribing to streaming channels I do not want.

Having an online account is convenient. I don't use Amazon Prime. Sorry to hear you had issues. I have about 5 apps and utilize the freebies too. I love movies and try to find good series to watch. I have seen a few Prime shows I'd like to see but can't.

It's so easy to hit the wrong button when we're online. I've done it several times. I'm glad you were able to cancel the subscription.

I hate joining things with automatic renewal. You have to keep a close eye on expiration dates.

I like the fact that all of the annual subscriptions I have send me e-mail notifications in advance. Yes, they make it very easy to sign up and extremely difficult to cancel.

I ordered a few things from a company last month. Fine. Then I noticed a charge for 19.95 so I checked it out. The company had set me up for a monthly subscription which I know I did not authorize. I had a horrid time getting through their help line but I finally did and had them quit doing that. They have lost my need to shop there again.

We have Prime
And nothing else
There are enough free apps available for all sorts of movies on the smart TV
We won't be signing up for anything Heather
