Today's disappointment

I had my second eyeball checkup this morning at 8:30... Everything seems to be coming along just fine. That's not the disappointment.
But because Juanita is used to traffic congestion in Hamilton, we left here at 7:30. But there was no congestion, we got there in no time and since she didn't have breakfast and was hungry, we stopped at Tim Horton's. She got a breakfast bagel combo but I wasn't hungry so just ordered a tea and donut.
That was the disappointment: the donut.
It looked so tempting in the case, a chocolate covered cruller with whipped stuff in the hole. The chocolate was more sugar than cocoa, the whipped stuff was cool whip, and the cruller itself was dry.
That was my disappointment.

I drink tea, so I wouldn't know.

Oh I hate it when that happens. I am glad there was no traffic congestion, though.

That certainly does not sound like a tasty donut,

The worst, I think, was the cool whip substitued for the whipped cream.

I don't mind the ones made of actual dough, but the cake ones, forget it.

Glad to hear the eye checkup went well—that’s the most important part of the morning sorted!

It certainly looked better than it was. I'll stick to regular honey crullers

I would be very disappointed. When I look at something that looks tempting and the taste is poor, I feel so deceived, I would say "scammed".
