Picking Out My Outfit For Taylor Swifts Wedding

Happy Thursday Everyone! saying it's hot would be an understatement.
I'm sorry I wasn't here yesterday as I was busy picking out my outfit to wear to Taylor Swifts wedding. 
Now that I have my outfit ready to go I'll be anxiously waiting by my mailbox today for my invitation. I know I'm getting one and it's just that the post office is so slow with delivery these days. If it doesn't arrive via the USPS today than I know it's coming by chauffeured limo tomorrow to whisk me into New York City for the big event. I can't wait!!
I'm also waiting for the Purple Heart truck to show up today to pick up my few boxes for donation. My plans for having more to donate just got sidetracked and decided not to worry and just put out what I had ready. I'm hoping they come and that they don't cancel due to the excessive heat.
Amazon is also bringing a package for me and a few things my daughter ordered.
My big exciting package is a new scale! Yippee my current one keeps saying I need to lose weight so I'm getting a new one hoping for better resutls 
The lawn crew were here earlier than usual this morning and I'm quite surprised that they are here. The grass is more brown than green and it doesn't look like it needs mowing. But, they're zipping around the community so I guess they know better than I do.
Nothing much happening here today. My older daughter is coming over for lunch so I'm looking forward to that.
My younger daughter only works til noon today and then is off work until Monday. She's looking forward to a nice long weekend even though we don't have any exciting plans for the big 4th of July.
So, that's what's happening in my little corner of the myLot world.

You should send Taylor a few emails reminding her to send that limo, some people are soooo rude.

You’re so funny.
I’m glad to hear you’ll have that very important lunch guest today. And how great that your other daughter had a long weekend! I’m so glad you’ll get this extra time with her.
I kind of wish I had plans this weekend. My dad and Diana went to my dad’s family’s annual Fourth of July reunion. It lasts for a couple of days. I know my best friend is busy this weekend or I’d see if she wanted to do something. Although, like you said, it’s going to be SO hot! Maybe it’s best I stick close to home.

With it being so hot you're probably best to stay home and not be out in this heat. It's really bad here today and looks no better until next week.
I definitely enjoy time with my daughters and we had a nice lunch together and some laughs. Unfortunately some of those laughs were at my expense

Not much, my big goal for today is not to leave the AC. it will probably be tomorrow's goal too. Let us know when y ou receive that invitation.

I think many of our invitations ot lost in the mail and I'm sure it's all the fault of the post office.
No outside for me today and I'm just praying the power doesn't go out. I doubt I would survive without my a/c with this heat.

I like the idea of the exchange program thing you've got going today, new stuff coming in and old stuff being picked up to go out. Good system. 
It is still super hot here, today I cannot even sit outside, it will be nice when this breaks, until then I am thankful for the a/c.

As long as the packages don't get mixed up on the porch it's a good way to have an exchange thing going on. Thankfully the donation people picked up before Amazon came.
It's way too hot to be outside today. My a/c is running full blast and that's even with two fans running. No cooking tonight. It's a big salad with a sandwich kind of night.

It's stifling here today with the heat index hitting 106 degrees. I'm also staying inside with the a/c and praying the power stays on.

My granddaughters are all into this Swiftie era and would probably give an arm and a leg to be invited. Actually I'm surprised they didn't make a big Pay Per View out of it and have people paying lots of money to watch it on tv.

The lawn crew may be paid each time they do it so they want to mow more to earn more money 
. That’s what used to happen here with the crew they hired to plow snow at the school for a few years.
