Turned out to be another fun day yesterday at the camp. Around 3 or so, we headed into Cape and went to the Century casino there. All said and done, my wife and I lost $50 collectively. It could have been much worse, and I guess the casino wanted my money back from the last time I was there and won $100.
Afterwards, we went to Katy O'Ferrel's on Broadway in Cape Girardeau for dinner. Really good food. I had a Reuben and Dawn got a patty melt. I had a Guiness and she had a bourbon old fashioned.
By the way, did you notice the picture accompanying this post? That was the door to the men's room. The ladies' room is the same but with slightly different wording.
A very funny reminder to ALWAYS make sure to read the fine print before proceeding.
I wonder how many ladies, and how many men, have walked through the wrong door having missed the joke? Probably too many to count.
When we left the restaurant, we headed back down by the river and watched the fireworks, which were set off from a barge on the Mississippi. It was a great display, although some of the show was slightly interrupted by a passing freight train.
I did get a kick out of my wife saying, "Please don't blow the horn," only for the horn to blow immediately after she said it.
I've included a video of the train with some of the fireworks in the background. Unfortunately, I didn't capture the grand finale.

Nice view of the train passing though and the fire fireworks display.

Like Dawn, I do like a good patty melt. That bathroom door would have made me mad if I had walked into the wrong restroom.

Interestingly enough, and I am not sure if that's to heighten the surprise, but in the men's room there is a glass partition where you can see directly into the urinals—it's clear glass, so there's no hiding your manhood, and if the wrong eyes come through the door at just the right time...the surprise, and the revelation one is in the wrong room will be quite dramatically evident very quickly.

I usually land if I take off...you know. lol
Even funnier is that there is a clear glass partition in front of the row of urinals. If a woman accidentally walks in, there's NO DOUBT she's in the wrong place right away.
Speaking of urinals, every man before one has a story to tell. Some are long, and some are short...

Just now
That's a very funny sign. I'm sure I'd go charging in there.
But what a long freight train! I kept expecting to get to the end of it.

Looks like you had a nice time.
I remember one time I walked into a men’s bathroom by mistake and was shocked to see men there.
I heard that there was a fire on the Brooklyn Bridge during the fireworks here. I don’t know the details though.
