Well, time rolls on.

Yeah, I drove straight back to my dad’s as soon as I saw my electricity was out. I am not spending one more minute sweating with my face turning red if I don’t have to.

There was a lot of cleanup for businesses, but for the most part they had their power by yesterday afternoon. Some of them I don’t know about because many streets are still blocked off. I heard they haven’t been able to remove all the power poles yet, but I’m not sure if that was true. It was so weird, driving to my dad’s, and seeing a metal roof just peeled away from the roof of a barn. Fences were in tatters, and one of my dad’s neighbors had their car totaled because a tree fell on it.

I would much rather be at my house as astonishing as that may sound. I also can run my air as much as I want. AllI know is that the power company said by Wednesday morning everyone should have power. I’m hoping they said Wednesday just to cover their bases.
