Thanks to friend we made it out in one piece

Friend is a huge devotee of all things leopard. Today was my day to engage in medical scans. I teased her about me wearing a leopard hat. She showed up right on time and yup, she brought three leopard hats. And she had one on her head. Adorable. I put that silly leopard bucket on my head and headed in- first to give ALL my info to the nice intake lady and also to give her access to my bank so she could withdraw $150.00 for one of the scans. She couldn't find the larger bill so I said fine. Two nurses approached me with two paper cups- at least 10 ounces each. I had to drink that contrast yummy before I was taken in to have more contrast injected. I made it through the first scan then was told we had two hours to wait for the next one. The longer one. Friend took me to a nice local coffee shop. I had barely eaten that morning so I indulged in a pumpkin muffin. We got back to the hospital a little early so we walked around, found the outside memorial garden- very meditative and nice. We also found the tiny chapel. The final scan was long. At least forty minutes BUT the tech put music on from Youtube. I chose Celtic folk. That helped a bunch. Now I am flat out tired and thinking about a vegetarian Dominos pizza. Wish I could sleep.
