We came second at the quiz night - second last, that is / myLot

On Saturday, Vince and I went to a quiz night at the clubhouse. We hadn’t intended to go but our friends had double-booked themselves so we said we’d go in their place. Vince always takes photos of the people at the tables and puts them up on the FB site. We didn’t do very well but it was quite enjoyable. I was pleased that I was able to answer all the questions on the Animal Kingdom sheet and got nine out of ten questions correct. I thought the King Brown was the most venomous of our snakes but it’s the inland taipan. And I don’t think too many other tables knew that the poop from wombats is cube-shaped.

You did yourself proud on the Animal Kingdom. I am more of "jack of all trades, master of none" when it comes to quizzes. I recall one bowling competition when my friend and I were competing not to come last. The wombat looks like it wants to be left alone.

I actually knew about the cube-shaped poop, but I probably would have forgotten that when I needed it, lol. At least I knew the picture was of a wombat! It's okay if you don't win, as long as you have fun playing.
