Nine more days

Summer warmth is back to my house. The grass is brown and thirsty. My back was not well yesterday so I didn't get out and water gardens. Today the pain eased. I walked the property, drug the garden hose and gave all the plants a drink.
Nine more days before I have a chat with the Doc. The test results are in. Daughter talked me down from hysteria. She says the big words do NOT spell bone cancer. They do tell me most of what I already knew: arthritis. Arthritis everywhere. Even ribs. Thickened vertebra. I guess the sternum has arthritis and hurts cause it is connected to my wonky shoulder. And I managed to have a lot of gall stones.
Lots to discuss when I finally see the Doc. I am left wondering when whatever treatment starts? This scan is on top of the lump biopsy news. Go, me!

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure the arthritis is painful and you have better days and bad ones. Let's hope there are LOTS more better days than bad ones coming your way.
I always wait to get upset until I've looked up the doctor speak we've gotten. I don't understand why they won't talk to us in layman's terms. Maybe so we don't panic in their offices.
Hopefully the therapy starts soon. Keeping you both in my thoughts.

@DaddyEvil Truth? Surgery is probably headed my way unless- and I can hope- there is some kind of pill that lessens the lump.

That sounds quite miserable. I know how it is with one diagnosis after another and once they start it feels as if there is no end in sight. Hugs to you friend.

@GardenGerty thanks. If there is mention of another biopsy I am going to refuse. I'm sure there would be a good reason but I just can't go there.

Some of those spinal conditions can be really, debilitating, but I am sure I don't have to tell you. Do you have a pain management doc?

@snowy22215 No on a pain management doc. I barely went to doctors before all this stuff blew up.

@snowy22315 A pain expert would probably just hand out pills and no way injections. My Mom took so many pain pills that she wore out her kidneys.

I can imagine the pain with the arthritis. My brother had surgery last Thursday because they found gallstones in his ultrasound when he fell down the stairs. What the doctors took out though was a polyp full of too many stones. So they had it biopsied and we're still waiting for the result.

Arthritis can be quite painful. Best of wishes in handling & treatment.
Is it hot as well as humid in your place also?
With deficient rains and hot, humid weather, it is a big challenge.
Plants would have welcomed getting good amount of water.

That ol' arthritis, it's a boil on the butt of humanity when we get older. I know one of my grandmothers had it so badly...her hands were the worst. On her left hand her two smallest fingers literally twisted together. I don't know how she did what all she did with her hand like that.
I hope you can spend some time outside enjoying your flowers this week.
