Washing day...when do you do yours ?

Even when you are on holiday the washing still has to be done. I'm at the caravan for another week and I have just done one lot of washing. To be fair there isn't very much ... The sun is shining and it's getting hotter by the minute so the washing shouldn't take long to dry .... hopefully. Do you have a particular washing day ....or do you just wash when you have a full load ?

I do my laundry when I put on my last pair of clean shorts I wear around the house. I don't know what prompts Pretty to do her laundry but I usually have to ask her to get her dry clothes out of the dryer before I can use it. I wash towels and washcloths for both of us when that basket gets full.

We do it usually on weekdays Monday or Tuesday, on weekends we do it on Saturdays.

We are only two, so I do not have a particular washing day. When I have a full load I wash. More or less is on Wednesday or Thursday, there are always several bathroom towels, kitchen towels and t-shirts.

Yes, there is only two of us too. The Mister is working away Monday to Friday so I wait til I have his washing. I never have a full load on my own. I do towels etc in a different wash.

@Traceyjayne - We are both retired, there is never too much to wash. Every other week I have the bed sheets, I wash them separately.

It seems to be far too often these days! When I was single I only had to do the washing once a month (I did have more than 40 pairs of knickers).

It's mainly just underwear for us ...The Mister has overalls etc that get thrown away ...just a few t shirts for us both really Towels in a separate wash and bedclothes every two weeks ...The Mister is away during the week and I stay one night a week at my Mom's ..

I usually just need it when a load is anywhere from half full to completely full.Of course, I always use a dryer so I try not to do that in the direct heat of the day.

Between the clothes, sheets, towels etc my washing machine is going almost every day. I'd rather keep up with it than have it pile up. Today I'm doing the towels from my bathroom so it's from the washer to the dryer. Glad you have sunshine and that it's hot enough for your stuff to dry quickly.

I don't have a particular day. During the winter, I wash if it's a fine day and I have a few things to do. In the summer, it's mostly once a week.
