When you go into a store you go to all the time. You know where everything is. You can go into the store and get everything that you need and leave the store real quick. When you go back to that store then next week they have moved everything around. You can not find what you need. You can not find what you are looking for. I have a very good idea. Leave it alone. Why oh why do they keep moving stuff around. Leave it alone.

The stores move everything around because the more people have to look for things, the more they see other things they believe they need so buy more. I hated resetting aisles when I worked at Walmart... I'm glad I'm retired and don't have to do that anymore.

@DaddyEvil At our Walmart it is hard to find help. So I just go to another store.

@jstory07 Most people just ask where it was moved to.

I am with you on this, leave it alone! As soon as I learn where stuff is, it's moved to another area.

@jstory07 - You waste plenty of time searching where they moved what you need.

I just always assume with sales changing, and new products coming in, they were kind of forced to do that. I bet the workers would prefer everything being left alone too.

I am sure the workers do not like stuff being moved around either.

I agree with you, they should leave it alone. It wasn't broke before, so it does not need fixed!

Some people think they do it on purpose. It’s not for efficiency, it’s so you will follow a different path looking for items you want to buy, and hopefully buy something on impulse. But I totally agree with you, it’s a huge pain.

Yes it is and sometimes I just forget the items and buy it at another store where I know where it is.

@jstory07 Sometimes it’s really hard to find what we need when they keep rearranging everything, I don’t like it, either.

Glad it didn't usually happened that here. That's honestly tiring to keep looking around if you are in a hurry to buy what's needed to buy.

That is true and they should leave it alone. Sometimes they will move everything in one aisle to another place.

Costco does that, it's irritating cuz then I spend too much time just trying to find what I came for.

I agree. But they do it to get you to buy stuff you didn't know you needed

They do it so that customers can't just go straight to what they are looking for but will be forced to wander around and in the process will see new things they hadn't noticed before and may be tempted to buy. It must be a nightmare if you are blind though, and rely on knowing where things are.

Yes it happens - items are moved around and I feel lost at times. They should do it for a reason and not randomly.
Just now
I totally agree with you on this Judy I have no idea why stores change stuff around You see people wandering around clueless , looking for stuff that they can't find anymore because some bright spark had moved everything

Yeah..it could be frustrating going through that hassle finding things you knew where they were before

Especially if you only want a few things and want to leave the store.
