I like cats, but…

So my buddy came over today to install my doorbell camera and help me with something else, and his 14 year old daughter came too. That was fine by me, she’s sweet. Only, a cat decided to come inside while my buddy was installing the camera because he needed to leave the door open for a few minutes. Twice, I shooed her out (she’s a really sweet cat though.) the third time the girl picked her up, and put her on my couch. Uh, no. The cat undoubtedly has fleas, and I don’t want fleas in my apartment. I said nothing, and after a few minutes she realized she couldn’t keep the cat from wandering, and put it back outside.
Hopefully, it wasn’t here long enough to have anything jump off its body. I also think I’m allergic because I started sneezing. That could very well be a coincidence as I have pet many a cat in the past, and been fine.
Yes, I know I should have said something, but her dad was doing me a favor.
Any visitors to your home recently?

I hate that I’m ferociously allergic to cats (I have garden gloves that I wear to play with the neighborhood babies who stop by). Fleas were a constant battle with my babies.
No visitors in the house since my brother brought me in from the colonoscopy on July 23. Those cats want to come in, though.

I leave my door open in the summer for the fresh air and the city noise. Three of my 3rd floor neighbors have cats. They're always wandering in if they happen to be outside. I'm always like "Hey Moon!" "Hi Frank!"

@teamfreak16 I had a neighbor’s cat come in once, and pee. After that, I had an eagle eye out for any little loose fur baby.

You know what’s happened to the cat that visited us. I’m so not a cat person. I’ve had them a couple times in the past. But in just honestly not really a cat person.

i understand the position of yours and i was in your shoes a lot of times. you need help but also think or your inner thoughts are telling you they could be more considerate and if you say something, it could sound wrong. thankfully, it didn't last long, i hope but, i'm sorry the cat was a plus one, when it shouldn't have been. i rarely have visitors and when i do, i also struggle with telling them this kind of things. also, i'm allergic to dust and pollen and maybe the cat already had that on its fur.

The only visitor to come to my relatives home was the handyman to fix the air condition inside the home about two weeks ago.
