I like cats, but…

So my buddy came over today to install my doorbell camera and help me with something else, and his 14 year old daughter came too. That was fine by me, she’s sweet. Only, a cat decided to come inside while my buddy was installing the camera because he needed to leave the door open for a few minutes. Twice, I shooed her out (she’s a really sweet cat though.) the third time the girl picked her up, and put her on my couch. Uh, no. The cat undoubtedly has fleas, and I don’t want fleas in my apartment. I said nothing, and after a few minutes she realized she couldn’t keep the cat from wandering, and put it back outside.
Hopefully, it wasn’t here long enough to have anything jump off its body. I also think I’m allergic because I started sneezing. That could very well be a coincidence as I have pet many a cat in the past, and been fine.
Yes, I know I should have said something, but her dad was doing me a favor.
Any visitors to your home recently?

Not of the feline persuasion..I don't think Nico would appreciate it.

I hate that I’m ferociously allergic to cats (I have garden gloves that I wear to play with the neighborhood babies who stop by). Fleas were a constant battle with my babies.
No visitors in the house since my brother brought me in from the colonoscopy on July 23. Those cats want to come in, though.

I leave my door open in the summer for the fresh air and the city noise. Three of my 3rd floor neighbors have cats. They're always wandering in if they happen to be outside. I'm always like "Hey Moon!" "Hi Frank!"

@teamfreak16 I had a neighbor’s cat come in once, and pee.
After that, I had an eagle eye out for any little loose fur baby.

@AmbiePam - Moon is a ninja. Half the time I don't even see him come in. I'm like "when did you come in?"

Hope you don't get fleas! That's why our cats are indoor-only. We haven't had anyone except Amazon and FedEx, and they behaved themselves and stayed outside.

I honestly would have nicely said, ''I'm sorry, but the cat hasn't been bathed and we don't know if it has fleas, so I would prefer it go back outside''....favor or no favor, that wasn't what the young girl should have done. Kind of surprised her Dad didn't say anything to her.
I am SOOOOOO happy to hear your door camera is installed!! That's one thing that you really needed.

My neighbor visited me no more than 15 minutes ago.
