Feel Like I’m in the Twilight Zone

My apartment built out of an attic accessible by wooden stairs at the back of the house and in inner staircase connecting to to the downstairs apartment. If the guys below me want anything or I need to ask them for something we use the inner staircase to connect. Except for the feral cats and opossum and other critters that come to my porch I always think no one could find me. Today I step out onto the porch to put down some food for the critters. There in front of my door is a brown paper bag. Now in this odd world I was at first afraid to look inside. Inside were two bags of rice, two bags of beans, and a can of beans, I have no idea who put it there and no idea where it came from, Strange huh? But it is food.

@RasmaSandra Could someone have seen you through a window? Or just when you briefly step outside? They might have thought they’d like to share with the sweet looking lady across the way.

@AmberPam but have no idea where it came from. No one knows me in the neighborhood. I have not been out for over two years and the only thing I have contact with people around here is that I post links to music blogs wishing everyone a good weekend every Friday

@AmbiePam No one can see in through my windows mostly under the roof, and when I step out on my porch, it is surrounded by palm trees and no one can really see me,

I'm glad somebody was thinking of you. Even if you don't need the extra groceries, keep them. Those store forever as long as they don't get damp.

@NJChicaa it is, but the only ones I know are those up above and no one from the neighborhood. As I mentioned, if it had been the boys downstairs, first of all, they know I got my groceries last Saturday, and second, they would bring stuff up using the inner staircase. Can it be another kind of otherworldly sign that I am being thought of? Is it possible?
