Internet Was Down...

We could still access the internet on our phones but mine isn't set up to access myLot from my phone.

Stopit Daddyo, you'z makin me crave matos but I ain't got any @DaddyEvil I'm tryin to figure out how to create a kinda greenish house so I can grow matoes and maybe some other goodies but I can't find anything that would do the trick outta the junk I have. Round here, too often the grocers here buy veggies from Mexico but when that goes through customs they spray with all kinds of insecticides etc so I don't dare buy any of them. Hmmmmmm I've never tried makin sanwitches with canned matoes.................

I can't always see to go out and water veggies anymore. And Pretty won't help me with them. She claims she has enough to do inside the house. Mom ate green tomato sandwiches all the time on the farm. I'd rather eat tomatoes ripe off the vine, still hot from the sun.

@rebelann Hmm... I haven't tried that either. Since they're steamed or blanched before their canned, I bet they'd make a really squishy sandwich. For several years after we moved into this house, I grew tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and mint in the flowerpots I kept on the porch. I tried growing tomato plants in pots in the house but while they'd set tomatoes, they'd only reach the size of cherries before they'd drop off the plant.

@DaddyEvil Hamburgers and we already ate them. They were good.

I was sure you and your kids would come over, so I made extra smoked turkey sandwiches for you. I've been watching a movie while I waited for you.

Oh, I see. We keep it 74F in the house so hot foods are good, too.

@DaddyEvil all I have it an old AC along with a fan that keeps my workroom cool where I sit most of the day, The kitchen has nothing to cool it and the front room has a stand up fan that blows over me during the night,

I just ate French fries for breakfast. We have to go grocery shopping today. I hope Pretty wants to go early this morning instead of waiting until the temp hits 98F this afternoon. Thank you. You, too.

That's what we said, too. When they fized the cable running across out back yard last year, they just stripped the end of the cable and screwed on another length of cable. It might have taken them 15 minutes total.

Me, too! I was online using my phone. I don't like taking it online and don't have it set up for myLot.

I agree, continental ham is delicious but still not as good as smoked turkey.

Me, too. Last year or the year before that, an internet technician unhooked our internet because he didn't think anybody lived in our house. As long as the internet bill is paid, it shouldn't matter if anybody lives here or not, in my opinion, of course.
