Storms Are Brewing

We had storm warnings and heavy clouds last night but no rain. I think you're getting the storms that skipped over my area. You can send it back if you want. We NEED the rain. Our grass is mostly brown and crunchy looking. The only areas that are still green are right around our garbage can and under the trees in the back yard. I've been slowly packing up for my 5 day hospital visit. I have my clothes packed and am adding "comfort" items to my duffle bag. (A pack of wet wipes for accidents, a jacket in case the hospital is chilly, I packed shorts and tank tops to wear around in the hospital with sandals, and who knows what all else I'll add to my duffle bag.) I have a travel CPAP machine with it's own pack and will make sure I take my phone charging cord with me. I'm not planning on taking my laptop because I don't want it stolen up there. My phone has to go. If it gets stolen, I can replace it, not easily, but I've been saving money, just in case. I have five days of my meds packed and in the duffle bag already. I'll take a package (2) of epi-pens, just in case... I haven't been in the hospital this long since I was a kid, so I don't know if I should take stuff to eat after my morning meds or not. I take my meds at 5 am and 6 pm every day and have to eat a snack right after the morning meds or they make me throw up. Will I be able to get food at that time of the morning there or not? When I was only in the hospital for an allergic reaction, I was home again before I needed to take my morning meds, so didn't have to worry about it. I'm babbling because I'm worried... Sorry about that.

I just did the exciting grocery shopping.

Storms on the way here too..and of course I am expecting a delivery that hadn't arrived yet. It will probably come when it's storming. Overnight company sounds fun.

You can remember the good old days??? You've got one up on me. It is sunny here right now, I just went outside and took a nice walk. My husband is picking up a nice calzone for our supper tonight-no cook Thursday. We always get a large one, and we can get 3 portions out of it, one for each of us tonight and then 1 portion for a leftover meal for one of us-usually me.

Oh aye Bring back the good old days when we were young and agile I found an SD card today of those old days. Memories lol

I spent the whole day with my stepdad at the hospital

Oh yeah, them good ole days ....... now a distant memory dangit.

We had a storm last night, but sunshine today. I hope that nicer weather heads your way.

We're staying overnight with my BIL and going to a concert. It should be a fun night.
