7 days until the ber months! That's right all you fall lovers September 1 is one week from now. Although technically still summer Sept 1 is meterogical fall. No more day after Labor Day being the unofficial start to fall. I am getting my fall on as of September 1. It is a cause to celebrate. I am not going wacky with the Halloween decorations or anything just yet..but I will start wearing some fall shirts and decorating with leaves and so forth.
In other news I called Walmart this morning, because I was 95 percent sure I had an oil change appointment today, they said they did not have me on the schedule..which is super odd, because I did make an appointment. They said oh we had you on here for a canceled tire rotation on the 20th..?? Not me sorry. Anyway, I have the oil change tomorrow now..However the problem i the only thing open was a bad time 3 PM. When I get out of there will probably be all kinds of traffic. I could hang out in a nearby restaurant and wait for the traffic to die down..but I don't want to spend the money. I will just grin and bear it I guess.

I bet when you come back from Canada things will be pleasant there..even here well not right here, but in Charlottesville I had to put the AC in the car on during Thanksgiving weekend one time. That was a bit of a shock.

It is a pretty special day in our family today, and has nothing to do with September rolling around.
Our son and his wife married 9 years ago today.
Next year is their big 10th anniversary and we will celebrate 4 times that number.
I hope that you get the appointment issue worked out.

I know right? I would have flipped out if I had gone up there and they didn't have me on the books. It isn't exactly close.

Such as? Unfortunately, I saw that most of the network shows won't be premiering until October. I am looking forward to that New Line of Fire show and also the show with Josh Charles..that started last year Best Medicine. He is such a good actor, and the premise is cute, if a bit predictable.

@snowy22315 I'm looking forward to that New Line of Fire too even though it's not coming until October. I started watching Best Medicine but never finished the first season. I always liked Josh Charles too which is why I followed him to this new series.

I gave Walmart their chance on car maintenance and they failed miserably. And the incidents did not happen at the same Walmart.
I think the first one was taking the car in for a simple rotation and balancing. I had heard rumors that often Walmart cheats on this. I marked each tire with a small marking of a,b,c and d. I waited a long time and they said it was done and ready for pickup. They had done nothing to the tires at all. The second time I decided on an oil change because the price was the lowest. They put in the wrong filter. I only made it to the end of the parking lot and there was a pop and all the oil came out, every bit. They would not refund me. My car had to be towed to a reputable shop at my expense.
They do not supervise or train their workers. If you walk in and say you know what you’re doing, you’re in. Oh, and another time one worker stole everything he could out of my console. I’m never taking my car to Walmart for anything ever again.
