Do you look forward to September?

Yesterday, I heard our staff saying he's relieved August was ending. The "ghost month" as they call it finally ended.
I just finished my lunch and taking a rest before going back to work. I plan to go back around 2pm. Things seem to be way much better this morning. After all, it's September!

I love Septembber. In my country spring starts in September. In my country there is a saying that, if the elderly don´t die during August, they will probably last another year.

The suffix “-ber” in September, October, November, and December comes from the Latin word “mensis,” meaning month. Back then, the Roman calendar began in March, which made these months the seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth of the year

September is great, because the kids are all back at school, and I can visit my favourite places without screaming children (and their mothers) disturbing my peace and quiet.

I'm happy we're heading into the cooler months here. Today, though, we're still dealing with heat & humidity and rain. Somehow it just seems worse when it's rainy and hot.

I look forward to September in the sense that we will soon be exiting the hell we call summer here in Florida. The weather hasn't quite started cooling off yet, but it's tilting in that direction, so that is a plus.

Yes. This month is a busy month for me. We are taking two cats to get wellness exams at the cat clinic. I also have an eye exam. And this Saturday my great-aunt will the Labor Day get-together.

That's nice for September. I had my dentist appointment the first of September and it's all done now. My fur babies are gonna get groomed on Sunday. And well, September is going to be just great, I hope.
