Springtime is finally coming. / myLot

Good morning, dear friends, This is the second day (after much too many) that the sun is warm and bright and I can go to the kitchen in flip flops instead of warm slippers. The house is sold and I have decided to rent a small house where I can put my junk for a year while I decide what to do next. Is I get what I want, maybe I could even take Luna with me. I´m keeping my fingers crossed although I know that that is asking for too much. My brother wants me to go to a nursing home. When I read a post here about toxic relations, I immediatly thought about him. I have lived 2 houses away for around 30 years and he might live in another country. When I fell, I called Leticia who lives 2 hours away from my house. I know who is my real family even if I don´t share blood ties. I´m waiting now for some soft boiled eggs for breakfast. I´ll try to use fat for homemade mayo instead of frying. See you later.

Some neighbours are nicer and closer than family members. I've had some wonderful neighbours and always thank God for having them around. We all stick with each other in times of trouble

I would be really glad if you can take Luna with you, she will be there to protect you and with her you are never alone. You cannot count on family. I have just lived that experience. My neighbors were there for me, two friends drove 2 hours to be with me. My family only sent a short email. Do not go to a nursing home.

Countries change. Yet experiences with some of our relatives and even blood relations can be complicated. Often Friends and occasionally neighbors can be our better pals. At times, our lives are linked more to such friends and the logical looking "relations" take a backseat. I hope you have taken all the pros and cons into account before your decisions. Even my life is at certain crossroads and happenings and decisions in the coming months would be very vital for me. Have a nice day and happy arriving Spring!

You can always hope Luna is allowed to live at your rental house... My brother is the only one willing to help me in emergencies. Or the older neighbors who live next-door to us.
