Gas prices up again in California.

When I got back from Montana, I was glad to see that gas prices were only up another 30 cents in California, relative to when I left. But they are continuing to rise. Unleaded Regular is now at $5.69/gallon, the highest I recall seeing it here. Are gas prices fluctuating where you live?

I haven’t noticed since it was $3.45 at the beginning of last week. I imagine it’s gone up for the holiday, at least.

Can you send me some in the mail? Trump said he would pay for shipping and handling. Come on that was funny.

Prices at the pumps always rise on Fridays and stay there for the weekend, but they go up a little more on Fridays of long weekends, and they are staying put probably close what they are now come next week. Soon they will bring out the winter gasoline, and the prices will drop, but not until late October or early November.

@TheHorse Maybe if the US calls a truce on the war with Iran we'll see a change. We are beginning to seriously consider an EV as our next vehicle.

Same here, we experience weekly fluctuations in prices every now and then. I think that until the Iran war is finally resolved, prices won’t stabilize. I wonder when this will finally end so that prices can stop fluctuating wildly.

Yes, a little bit they are higher than what they were last week, but not over 4 anywhere I have seen.

It's a holiday weekend so of course gas prices are up everywhere. I haven't used my car in months so don't know what the gas prices were before the weekend.

I read somewhere Texas had a glut of oil and gas. Everyone stepped up production under Trump to sell on the market to cash in on those high prices. This created a glut Texans could not store so they had to burn off and dump millions of barrels, instead of boosting supply and drawing down supplies in the midwest
