Customer Service Please!

I worked in customer service for 30 years. So when I have to talk to someone and communicate information over the phone I do expect to speak to someone I can understand.
Today I called MTM or NonER to set up transportation for my daughter for her October medical injection. The young girl who answered was very hard to understand. I've done this hundreds of times and they pretty much use a formatted speech so I just answered the whole thing as I always have.
I just called back and actually got someone who enunciated her words so I could understand. So info was verified and I am happy with the set up. I am proud of myself because I didn't get upset, I ignored her bad enunciation instead of continually asking her to repeat herself. (If it had not been a set format like it was we would have had a problem).
Job well done.
No one else seems to care if a representative speaks clearly or not so why should I? Life's too short.
The picture is from my collection.

I always wanted to speak clearly when somebody called me for help with something and always wanted them to speak clearly to me, too.

People don't seem to care how they are perceived by others. Or how they sound and speak. I think it's sad.

@DaddyEvil .........There isn't much you can do. People used to care about doing a good job but nowadays it's a sh*t show.

@celticeagle Yes, I know. I don't know what to do about it, though.

That's very good to hear that you got someone you could understand. We've used the mtm company when we had to take my son to the neurologist in. Boise a couple years back and it wasn't always easy to handle the set up
Very cute picture!

I couldn't really. I have just called so many times to set up transportation that I know the questions and information needed so I made it through.

I get the same thing. I hate it. I'm already nervous if I am calling for help with something.

I see. We used to get Indians when I had a Dell computer and called repair. This gal had no accent.

And when I have an issue I'm nervous so it's nice to have someone I can understand on the other end of the phone.
