I have some good news. Kidney disease is well known for being progressive. You do not "get better"; however, my labs came back at Stage 3b...Previously I was at Stage 4 (severe). Maybe all the dietary changes I made helped.
My SIL is in from Phoenix for the auction of my husband's horde which will be held tonight (9/23). So far we've gone to Red Lobster and had Pizza Hut pizza. She will be going home on October 1.
Tomorrow I have my eye doctor appointment with a new doctor.
I had a root canal done about a week ago; and part of the temporary filling has come out. They said not to worry as long as the main portion is not exposed.
I think I have 12 doctor's appoointments, tests and procedures to finish up now.
I miss all of you so much. I can't wait until something is done about this pain in my shoulders/arms.

That's honestly great news about your kidney numbers, moving from Stage 4 to 3b is a big deal and all that diet work clearly paid off. Sounds like a busy stretch coming up with the eye doctor and all those appointments though. Hope they get to the bottom of that shoulder and arm pain soon, you deserve some relief.

Can you not get a referral to pain management? Or be given something for the pain. There is no reason you should have to suffer the pain for this long.

I have pain pills. I see my PCP in October. After that I will see someone about the shoulders.

I'm glad you got good news. I hope something can be done to relieve your pain. Seeing all these doctors must be tiring. Sounds like you're eating good though.

Very thankful to hear that your kidney issues have stabilized and improved somewhat. Hope the auction went well.
Have they said whether a cortisone shot in your shoulder might help or if you can get it?

What we eat can truly make a big difference. I am glad to hear of better kidney tests results, that's wonderful. Keep on with the careful eating, it will pay off in the end!
I hope that you soon get some help with the arm and shoulder pain, as well as the other appointments. I hope the auction goes well, too.

Looks like a lot going on. Bummer about the filling coming out. Wonder why it did. I am glad your kidneys are doing better. Hope your pain goes away soon.
