The Forever Roll

This would have come in handy back when people were hoarding toilet paper, but it might still be popular now. Charmin, the toilet paper company, has made the Forever Roll, a roll of toilet paper marketed as lasting an entire month. Has anyone bought this yet? Would you?

I don't think any TP can promise lasting a month. Depends on what you eat if you know what I mean.

@ambiepam But how many people use the bathroom it’s in? Does it last a whole month even if the user has frequent bouts of violent diarrhoea?

Well, I wondered about the size of the household, but I didn’t think about the latter.

@xFiacre I’m guessing it’s under normal conditions.

@AmbiePam One must always consider the latter.

No, I did not, I am alone and I do not need to replace my paper roll more than once a week. The normal rolls are perfect, I ordered from Amazon and I have a hundred downstairs in the garage.

@LadyDuck He was a smart man, for many reasons. Most importantly, because he married you.

@AmbiePam - I think so. My husband always wanted to have stored things that "could" not be easily available in case of problems.

Pretty bought those triple sized rolls and those last a couple of weeks for us. We wouldn't have room to put anything larger than that on the toilet paper roller.

I’d need one of those toilet paper stands you sit on the floor. And I don’t like those.

I hadn't heard about this forever roll but I'm sure it's really big and wonder how they know it would last a month. Doubtful I'd buy it as I'm not really a fan of Charmin (sorry Charmin).

Apparently, it weighs 2 pounds, and it is supposed to last a month for two people.

@Marilynda1225 I don’t see how it could fit on a roll on the wall, just one that stands on the floor. Because you raise a great point! It would make a great gag gift, wouldn’t it?

@AmbiePam I wonder if it really does last a month (for two people) and also does a 2 pounder fit on a standard holder? I know, I have too many questions

What kind of holder would you even need for that?

If it wouldn’t fit on my regular toilet paper holder then I wouldn’t want it.

That sounds interesting. I don't see how they can gauge that though. More than one person could be using that roll. Maybe as many as 4 or 5.

You can order it online, and I assume they will ship it anywhere.

@toniganzon I was thinking one would buy a big shipment at once, but still, the shipping cost would be silly in relation to what one gets.

@AmbiePam Yeah but the shipping cost for a roll of toilet paper? I'd rather buy those that are available here.

I usually buy Angel Soft. Last time I ordered groceries they did not have this and I bought TP from Charmin and did not like it much,

I haven't heard of that one. No, it would run out eventually like all the others.

I am not sure if we have this in my country. For me, it is economical to have them at home.
