Some years ago I saw my first Roadrunner in one of my trees then yesterday I was treated to another Roadrunner in one of my trees. It's rare that I get to see these beauties and I'm always awe struck when I get this close to one.
I don't think they actually fly but they do scurry up trees purdy dern fast when being chased. Roscoe thought he could catch this beauty but I conned him into coming in the house for his favorite treat so the RR could make his escape
In the desert things are usually small so we don't have big game like deer or moose or whatnot but what we do have is unique and to me they're precious
I've never actually seen a roadrunner fly, I honestly wonder if they ever do but they sure can scurry up a tree to keep from becoming doggie toys. Roscoe wan...

Yes, very very sad @celticeagle Even the eagles have gone, we used to have an eagles nest in our mountains, probably golden eagles but they no longer have sustainable hunting grounds

I doubt they are in Germany but I will check online to see what their range is.

I've never seen a real life Roadrunner so that's pretty amazing to me. The only Roadrunner I've seen is in cartoons

I'm not sure but I doubt roadrunners fly but boy can they run and scurry up trees.
