@JohnRoberts It was only a matter of time before I was found out.

I think being selected for inspection can be random, but sometimes it happens for a specific reason. My son experienced this when we came to the US two years ago. At the airport, he was flagged because his picture looked different—he had long hair compared to when it was taken while he was younger. Then, during our plane transfer in Japan, he was stopped again before boarding to be frisked and even had a saliva sample taken for some reason. Although everything turned out fine, going through such scrutiny can be annoying and make you feel segregated from others who passed through without it.

@AmbiePam True, I was a bit concerned about why they chose to treat my son like a suspected criminal. However, I felt confident it would all go well, knowing he wasn’t doing anything illegal. It was just frustrating that, instead of smoothly proceeding to the plane, he was stopped and treated in that manner.

Maybe they thought you were hiding something, and being disabled was your cover..How is Diana now?

They do that to the best of us.
They pulled me out of line in Victoria last spring.
They put that wand over me, and it beeped, but I think it was the underwire that set it off. So they made me go into this stand up glass tube, spread my legs and arms and they closed it and scanned me.
That was humiliating, but funny when my son told me that he got the same treatment.

I've had that happen to me before, too. Then other times, no worries. Once they took me to a little room to take my crutches apart and looked inside of them. I sat there and watched them do it....then the guy that took it all apart had to put them together again, and he was not happy, it took forever. There is no rhyme or reason for what they do.

Never flown on a commercial airline and don't plan to.
And yes, you seem totally suspicious and I've never met you face to face.
