If you haven’t read the books by Lucy Maud Montgomery set on Prince Edward Island, or seen the Anne of Green Gables and Anne of Avonlea TV miniseries from the 1980s, I suggest you do. This picture is the house the author based her books on, and lived in when she wrote them. I showed you some of the outdoor pictures yesterday. This is the amazing house.

I never read them, but wouldn't be adverse to doing so. When we were in Salem..We saw the House of Seven Gables Nathaniel Hawthorne's place. It was fairly dramatic..but we didn't go inside. I guess it was either expensive or we didn't have time. I do have some pics of it somewhere.

I can't remember if I saw the miniseries or read the books. . . it was a loooooooooooong time ago. I remember really liking them though. My niece was like 6 months old for her 1st Christmas so I bought her the Little House on the Prairie and Anne of Green Gables sets of books. I figured she obviously wouldn't know what was going on so I thought it would be something that she could use when she was older. I have no clue if she's read any of them. She is 12 now.

I can’t see the comments for some reason and I can’t remember if I read this already. So I will tell you again, this is beautiful. I read the books. And saw the made for tv quality show or movie.
