i would think anything to do with information technology is still a good bet. investing in alternative fuels also looks promising given the hyper-increases in oil prices. more importantly, know what you love to do and stick to that. passion and perseverance trumps business trends in the long term.

I use my left ear to answer phones because that comes naturally to me as a right-handed person-- does that make sense? i usually do a lot of other stuff with my right hand while making calls so i got used to using my left hand to pick up calls, hence the use of my left ear. i guess if i were a lefty, it would take some adjustment for me to use my right ear to take calls.

yes i do. i try to make it a point to converse with God one way or another-- through prayer, meditation, reading religious-inspirational books, communing with nature, visiting my favorite spiritual place... i find that the benefits far outweigh the effort i put into my spiritual life.

yes, i'm an avid fan of comedies. some of my all time favorite movies are comedies: there's something about mary, adam sandler movies (50 first dates, happy gilmore etc)... there's nothing like a good laugh to snap you out of the doldrums.

i think that it's because the older we get, we become more selective, we know what we want, and we become mature enough that the number of friends you have or your popularity does not determine your worth as a person. the number of friends that i have have dwindled in number through the years--some with whom i've lost contact with, drifted apart, grown apart... but i have a core group of friend...

i find myself to be at my heaviest right now, and frankly, it is so hard to get motivated into reaching my ideal weight. as the old saying goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and it is usually taking the first step that is the hardest. i'm trying to set realistic goals for myself. for example, i try to make better choices when i'm eating-- red rice versus white rice. ...
