My babies are the best alarm I've ever had. Those two girls wake me up every morning. Usually, it's my eldest daughter that yells something along the lines of, "Mom! Mom! I said MOM!". LOL. If my youngest wakes me up, it's generally not quite so gentle. On the occasions when she does it, it's usually the incessant screaming at the top of her lungs that jolts me out of a dead sleep. |

Well, with my first daughter, my water broke, in bed, at around six o'clock in the morning. I woke my husband at the time to tell him, who responded with, "what do you want me to do about it?" in his sleep. He's a sleep talker (and does everything else in his sleep too).
So, when he finally woke up an hour later, we went to the hospital. There, the doctor and nurse who were admitting me arg... |
 | pangeacat responded to a discussion called what is the strangest food you've ever eaten? in life. 3 weeks ago
Apparently, when I was little, I ate chicken feet soup. My step father, at the time, was part Chinese. He knew the language, and enjoyed taking me and my mother to China town on a semi regular basis (the one in Los Angeles, not the larger and more well-known version in San Francisco).
He would typically order for us, after we told him what we wanted, at whatever restaurant we were eating at.... |
 | pangeacat responded to a discussion called Are you ever unhappy with your earnings here at mylot in mylot.com. 3 weeks ago
Wow! $60 for one month? Is that all you, or do you have a number of referrals? If it's all you, I have to give you a lot of credit! That is a lot of posts, and since I've noticed a higher amount with quality over quantity, a lot of quality in those posts as well!I'm never unhappy with my mylot earnings, though there are times that I wish I could have thought of more interesting discussions ... |
 | pangeacat responded to a discussion called Are you in good terms with your EX? in love. 3 weeks ago
I'm on good terms with most of my exes actually. There are a few that are not friends, any more. Some, it's simply because we lost touch. Others, it's definitely because one or the other of us wants nothing to do with the other.
Still, most of my exes and I are actually still friends. I went out with one such ex, the other day, and his girlfriend of the last 3 years. And, another ex came ove... |

I hadn't stumbled across that site yet. And, I have been searching like mad! Thank you so much for giving me the link. I can't even tell you how grateful I am. They sound like they might be able to help and give me exactly what I've been looking for! |
 | pangeacat received a best response in the discussion Going Green....How Green Are You??? by jengoss. 2 weeks ago I know for a fact that I'm not nearly as "green" as I'd like to be. It's something I am currently working on, and trying to get the other people I live with to cooperate with, which has been a struggle.
I need to start taking items to a recycling facility, for instance, since there are some items I know are recyclable that my city doesn't accept in the blue bin outside.
I don't currently ... |
 | pangeacat received a best response in the discussion How Serious are your Mylot Discussions? by primalmom. 3 weeks ago For me, it depends on my mood. I've started and responded to some very serious, to me at any rate, discussions on here. And, I've responded to and started some rather light-hearted, just for fun really, discussions here.
Lately, I've really been in more of a non-serious, go with the flow, light-hearted mood. But, I do enjoy friendly debate and conversation on more in depth topics, so I might... |
 | pangeacat received a best response in the discussion Do you get hit on regularly? Share your embarrassing stories! by mommyboo. 3 weeks ago Yes, I get hit on regularly, and it bothers me quite a bit. I have friends who tell me to take it as a compliment, it's no big deal, they just saw something they liked and let it be known, I'm being a beeatch, relax, and so on. Whether it makes me a beeatch or not, I don't like it and I'm not going to pretend as if I do!More then bothering me, there are times it down right ticks me off, or ... |
