Well here is my new stocking cap for this winter.
I tend to wear a cap all winter even indoors etc.
Yes, I have fallen asleep with one on many a time.
This one I got as a comp from Mystic Lake Casino early this year.
Just decided to wear it this winter.
I have about 5 stocking caps and maybe 15 baseball caps I wear.
Do you wear a cap most the winter?
Have you worn one where one normally would not wear one?
How many different caps etc do you own?
Should I change this to my new avatar?

Very stylish! I guess it's getting to be that (cap wearing) time of the year. Our weather is so cold these days. I don't wear caps, although I guess I could use a new hat. I tend to go with just my hood on my coat. Your photo would make a great avatar. Maybe you can interchange it with the one of you by the water. Take care. Hugs.

Well, I guess we will be seeing a new avatar on here of you now that you have that fancy new stocking cap. It looks fine on you. I personally, can't stand to wear anything on my head. I don't like hats,caps,etc. I won't even wear the hood on my coat unless I just have to and I don't find that I have to often.

Could be a good new avatar, it shows your face off very well.
I like hats and caps, I wear them frequently. But no, even though I live in Texas I do not have a cowboy hat. I get that question a lot.

I used to have 5 ball caps but the wash ate 4 of them last month, then I found 3 that someone threw in the garbage that are brand new. I have 2 stocking caps that I only wear if I'm working outside or there is a bitter wind out.

How the heck did the wash eat your caps?
I wash my baseball caps by hand.
I wear my stocking caps almost every day from mid October
till about March or April due to the cold here.

I throw mine in the washer with the clothes. I wear my baseball caps everywhere and so they get dirty alot quicker. Besides, after 4yrs. of heavy wear and wash, they are bound to fall apart.

AH......I like the cap! I don't normally wear a cap unless I run to the store right after I get up in the morning as my hair stands straight up....I do wear one once in a while when I write....if I wear it with the bill straigh ahead that means I know where I am going.....if I turn it around it means I need to think about it and find my direction! LOL

Looks warm, and I like your new avatar..I don't wear hats like that, it messes up my hair, I use these hoodie type coverings, still warm, but it dopesn't squish my hair..But, when I have wet hair or sick, I wear....A santa hat..
Yep, you read that right, but only in my own home..I started doing that one year when I was really sick and had the chills, I found wearing this santa hat kept me warm and I slept with it until I felt better..Since then, I wear it, like I said, only in my home, when my hair is wet or I have a chill..

I don't have much hair to mess up.

I just replied to a discussion on how important fashion is when it comes to keeping warm..The santa hat is the perfect hat for warmth, but you won't see me outside my house wearing one..

I don't wear a cap, only if its attached to my coat or jacket will I wear one. I don't have caps, but my husband has a bunch of them, we have a cap rack hanging on the wall and its full, caps are sitting on top of caps..lol. But for some reason I can't get him to part with any of them, he doesn't wear all of them, only a few favorites, that he'll wear. I like the picture, looks like you changed it to your avatar....have a good day

Nice cap GRANDPA BOB. I have a black baseball type cap that I added a lot of Native American type beadwork and always wear it when I go outdoors no matter what the weather....It's getting worse for wear and do have a tan color cap that I might try to transfer all that beadwork I did on the other. Hate to give the old one up though. Uh, nope, never worn a cap to sleep though..LOL

Hi Grandpa,
I like the hat! It is very striking, and the pic will make a great avatar. I also like the one by the water, but it is getting chillier at this time of the year. The hat makes it more wintery.
I don't wear hat for a rule, but I will use the hood of my jacket quite a bit. I find that if my jacket doesn't have a hood I don't wear them as much.
My hubby wears a stocking most of the winter, even indoors. He is always cold no matter what the temperature is. Poor circulation does that.

I do not own any hoodie sweatshirts either.
I wear mine but not because I am always cold, just force of habit I think.

hi Grandpa Bob I never wear a c ap as it squashes my hair
'but my son wears one all the time, he has about ten or so differentones he wears. you know when you smile you look so happy in your photos and when I smile I always look like i am having a gas pain in my tummy lol lol lol.guess I am just not very
photogenic.I think a cap is more a guy altho I have one I used to wear to ball games as it had a sun visor on it.

Happy New Cap, GB - I hope you have a winter of enjoyment out of it! I don't wear a hat at all because I don't like the feeling of having anything on my head - but it's a good idea, as they say if you keep your head and feet warm, the rest of your body will be fine and the heat can't escape!
