What Type Of Music Do You Prefer Listening Too?

and does it differ depending on the situation or where you are at as well? For me, I have a couple of different tastes in Music, and so does my husband as well. If we are just sitting here relaxing at home, and he is surfing the TV, most of the time we will watch CMT, and even watch the Country Music awards as well. We even will buy our favorite singers from time to time in CD as well.
But if we are traveling in the Car, I have a variety of types of music we will listen too. Most of the time though it is either Country or Christian, but from time to time I will put in some of my favorites from when I was a lot younger as well. I feel it just depends on the mood, and what is going on in my life at the moment as well.

I think overtime everyone's music tastes change. I know that there are people who I used to enjoy listening too that now I cannot stand, and vice versa. That is why I am glad that there are different kinds of music styles out there to choose from as well.

Hi there Tina. The type of music that i prefer listening too pretty much depends on the mood that i am in, of the social group that is with me (if i am alone also counts) and from time to time, the movie i just saw. It can also depend on the time of the year (like in Christmas time for example).

I mostly just like Classical music. But I don't like Mozart, and other composers from his era. I prefer orchestral music from the second half of the 1800's on. When I'm driving to school early in the morning my favorite music is Strauss waltzes. On the way home I like anything played by a full orchestra, as long as its not real modern. I also listen to country music if there's nothing good on the classical radio station. I like the older country best, although there are a few recent songs that I like.

you're right about wanting to listen to certain types of music depending on what's currently hapening in oyur life or depending on what mood you're in. i myslef like listening to sentimental music when i'm broken hearted, more of like digging a deeper hole if i may say. i also prefer hip and fun music when i'm feeling happy. but generally, i prefer mellow oldies. i love the carpenters and yhe like. i also like new music, again, depending on my mood and my emotions.

I like to listen to those evergreen oldies and christian songs. Though I run a keroke business I listen to music everyday but I still prefer the old songs. they are more meaningful and soothing to the ears compared to the modern hip hop which I can't figure out what they are singing.

Here in the United Kingdom my choice of music has to be Classic FM. They play a lot classical music without being too highbrow.
It makes for very easy listening and can be found at 101.1 FM here in Yorkshire but there will be a slightly different number in other areas

My musical tastes are fairly eclectic. I listen to anything from classical to R&B, folk to rap. My CD collection ranges from Charlotte Church to Lil Kim. It depends on my mood.

I will prefer the music for listening the good songs.I will listen with different
kind of music i will listen.I will listen mostly the english songs,telugu songs,
hindi songs.I will prefer to listen music is melody songs,slow songs and the rocks songs.I will listen in the computer or ipod or home theatre or in my cell phone.

I listen to all types of music. But I prefer listening to R&B and Gospel music. I'm just like you, it depends on what mood I'm in to listen to certain types of music. But everyday while just looking at tv or while on the computer I like to listen to R&B. On Sundays I listen to Gospel music. And while traveling in the car I sometimes listen to hip hop.

I like listening to Oldies and Country Music too. But, my favorite is Classical Music. I listen to classical music every evening after I get back home from work. That's the way for relaxation after a long day's work.

I like som Pop, but when I listen to the radio I listen to a station that plays music from 80's, 90's and today. Nothing hard. Mostly though I have been listening to audio books. I can't stand some of the music they make today, so I am now adicted to listening to books on tape. If I don't have a book playing in my car I get really bored.

I am pretty eclectic. I listen to a lot of punk rock and indie though. A good bit of oldies and classic rock too. Lately I have been listening to a bunch of Spanish bands though.

It depends on my mood and the situation around me.When i am free and with my friends i listen to classical rock and a bit of hard rock.When i an stressed out i listen to a bit of jazz.Music is the best way to burst the stress.I just cant live without music.Even at work i put on my music player and keep listening to music.When i travel in bus i use my player too.

I listen to a lot of 80's pop, modern rock, and metal. Most often though I listen to only one artist, Disturbed. It's the only music I can listen to no matter my mood, so I tend to just let it play so I don't need to change playlists if my mood changes. I am always listening to music, whether it is the focus, or the background noise is all that changes. My point here is that my taste in music is also directly influenced by my current mood.
