Will you notify other Mylotters when you change a new avatar?

Actually I only changed my avatar twice. I had a new discussion when I changed it last time. I am afraid my friends may not recognize me at once. So it's better to notify them I changed a new avatar.

I guess I will if I change my avatar. I have yet to change it since I loaded my a long time ago. Usually, I try not to change them. Too much hassle to do it. 8p But if I ever do, I will let my friends know. And if possible, my regular fellow mylotters who are always active in my threads as well.

Since your avatar is written in Chinese words. And it may be a male's name. So I think it's your name If it's not your name, probably it's someone special's name

I tend to tell folks, but that's usually because, for me, avatar changes come with a story that usually feel that sharing with other Mylotters.

Hello, youless. I'm an old myLotter, and I have to say that, in all this time, I have never changed my avatar. Not even once. And I don't feel like changing it. I do not care too much about my avatar. But it is impressive to see that people really combine the avatar to the image. If you change one, people will suddenly ask: "Who is this?". Then they will read your username and say: "Oh, that's Youless!". If I changed my avatar, I would not notify anybody. A new avatar means that you are changing. Changes are not meant to be notified. Let people notice them by themselves. You will be able to see which friends are paying attention to your avatar and which doesn't. Anyway, you have this avatar a while ago already. Are you planning on doing it again? Respectfully, Munhozmib.

I dont it will be necessary..I change my avatar once in a while when I see some nice images but I think most of mylotters still rely on our names coz they check number of post we have coz thats says a lot by being a member here

Hello Youless......I changed my avatar recenlty, but did not inform any of my friends....Actually i cahnged my avatar from back rose to red rose only at the request of some of my friends,as black appears sombre and moody.....and also it is unsuitable to my character............ But if you change youe avatar frequently its best to notify your friends,so that they may not fail to recognise you.But for me it doesnt matter, because I very often mylot from my notifications, and so a changed avatar does not confuse me.....

In my two and a half years I have been on Mylot I have only ever changed my avatar ONCE! Believe it or not! I am very happy with my picture I have that I have never thought to change it, it is me and people see the true and real Wolfie! So I don't need to inform my friends as they know it's always me they see!

Oh yes, I would start a discussion to get some of my friends' attention. I am just afraid that people might not recognise me, so I would definitely do that and make a little announcement, just to be safe.

To be frank, I am sorry that I couldn't recognize when you changed your this avatar. I realized it later. That's because I seldom pay attention to the user name. Your this avatar is quite cool and it's different from the previous one

Hello youless. I have changed my avatar for a few times, but I am glad that my friends here can recognize me without my keeping them informed. It is my username that they can recognize me. So it is the same with me when I am familiar with the username. Good night, youless. See you tomorrow.

No, I usually don't do so. Many myLotter's will recognize me by my name. So they see this, and then they will know who I am. It is polite to inform them, so they may not get mixed up..

I guess not. It's my profile and so I think it is my own choice what to do in it. If it'll get notice much better but if not it is alright. Anyway mylotters respond to the topic they think they can give their best shot and not looking into your avatar.

Yes this is something I would definately do especially as many users here recognise others through their avatars. I must admit I probably won't change mine as it's the same avatar I use on other sites too so the majority of this community and others can easily find me on most sites.
