Other Paying Sites Reduced the Attendance On Mylot?

I'm not very observant, so I didn't notice any change in myLotters' participation. I've been with myLot about 6-7 months, been paid 3 times. I like this site and the friends I've made; but most importantly is that the payment is prompt and on time. I've joined another site earlier; and it closed within 2 months. Well, I think I'll hang around here!

Hi there, Well, I am a relative newbie to Mylot myself at just over a month, so I cannot attest to whether membership is increasing or decreasing. However, I am having lots of fun here and meeting great people, the money is an added bonus for me. Honestly, Mylot is the first and only message board/discussion board that I have actually actively participated in. I'm used to doing more formal freelance writing of magazine articles ETC. I find Mylot a refreshing break from the formal writing. I can come here, meet new people, say hi to friends, have a good conversation or a very thoughtful discussion and get paid at the same time. This to me makes Mylot one of the best sites on the Internet. As for the other sites, I know they are out there, but they're not as well established as Mylot and they could up and disappear tomorrow if they go bankrupt. And as for the $10.00 minimum payment, that in fact is quite doable, I was able to reach payment in just about three weeks without any referrals and I'm well on the way to making February's payment. So I'm making more than I expected to earn here on Mylot, and so I am more than happy and I'm having fun to boot. What more could I ask for? Happy Mylotting!

I went to those other posting sites and they are not all what they appear to be, for instance, the site that says it pays 10 cents a post is a lie! No matter what I posted or how long the post was, all I ever got was ( 2cents ) a post! I even deliberatly posted an extra long quality post but again all I got was 2 cents! And also they have a lot more rules to follow and I was getting warnings constantly, so I came back to Mylot and here is where I'll stay! I've been with mylot for over 2 years now and I've NEVER had a problem with them! I NEVER had any kind of warnings and they always paid me! You won't get rich but you will make friends and Mylot is a true trusted site!

Why do you say that attendance on MyLot has been reduced drastically? Are the numbers of members going down?

Hello, AKRao24. I don't think that any paying Forum is equal myLot. MyLot is still the best paying Forum out there. The others will be almost the same amount of money earned, and their payouts may be just the same here in myLot. Their designs are ugly and they have no interaction with the user. They are all disorganized. MyLot is innovative, different, completely good looking. They add features that help members, while in the other Forums all people do is ban each other. Here you earn money, the staff is not arrogant, and they pay you on time. Nowhere is better than myLot. I doubt anybody here knows of a better Forum than myLot, not only in earnings but in everywhere. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

that is right ,in mylot we are paid very badly. other sites pay more and members have to work every less time.we i am getting veryless payment. this is the reason thatmember are quiting this site.

Despite the low payment that Mylot is doing I still like them more than the other site. I seem to like it here more often than in other paying forums. I think we just should accept if there are others who are really looking for money in posting in forums. In my case I just enjoy it here reading and posting comments my earnings in here is not that important anymore although I do accept that I enjoy knowing that they pay me something in here.

I have seen the disappearance of many of my friends who have been here quite long and who are good contributors to posts. People are always looking for greener pastures and those who feel that mylot does not cater to their needs they have no choice but to look for it somewhere else. I think it is time that the admin revamp this site and inject new incentives to lure these members back. I am also losing my steam seeing the dismal notifications from my email. It doesn't flood anymore and I hardly receive 20 notifications a day which shows a big drop in people posting discussions. Responses are numbered and we can't stretch our ideas further if this continues. With the departure of many mylotters mylot will be in the red as they survive on the support of members.

The same thing has happened with me.I was just active in mylot now just to get more payment on mylot.I have other sites that pay well.I'm there here for the friends i made.I also come here for the interesting discussions.I also come here for knowledge and sometimes get my doubts answered.

Hey, That is very true as MyLot doesn't really pay much for discussion here. But one thing is for sure, even though MyLot doesn't pay us much it still has the trust. That it won't run away and close like other sites. Happy MyLotting!

I know some sites that pay like 10c a post, and I'm sure everyone knows which site it is. And most like you said minimum payout is less than $10. But I really don't care about those websites. As you can see I know mylot pays and I trust them. It might take alot of effort to earn the money, but we;ll earn it one day. By the way, I love mylot, so the money for me is a bonus.

hmmmm...i dont think so..maybe coz many ppl just got bored with it lately in the same time, like a boring season lol. but personally, its fine with me if the minimum payout is $10, fair enough. coz i will be so lazy if i only receive $5 lol..seeing a bigger amount makin me feel happier lol.. maybe ppl also busy, coz it was xmas n new year season and ppl have a new resolusion with their life. yeah maybe thats why lol

This is the only site that I belong to that will pay me for what I have to say. I'm not even aware of any other sites. I was completely shocked that websites like this even existed. I think that it's a creative and inventive way to help build up a website and see all of the different views and opinions that there are out there.

Yes, there are many paid sites out there which have much higher payment and lesser minimum payout to reach. But what I like here in mylot because for many years they are still surviving and are still paying. This is the reason why there are still users who will come here. Most of other site they are just good at the beginning, they will offer higher payments but then later will change. Or maybe will turn out to be a scam.
