I usually wake up earlier during weekdays so I could finish certain household chores before I go for my part time job. the very first sound that goes into my ears is the snoring of my husband when I wake up. Besides I could still hear roosters crowing from the neighborhood occasionally. I like the lovely chirping sound of different birds on the trees outside the windows. It makes me feel so relaxed and fresh in the early morning. There are noises of vehicles passing by on the road at a near distance in front of my house. I could hear the happy laughter from the twos and threes students walking pass my house. Hearing the noise made as well as the familiar smell of the fried eggs, from the kitchen, I know my husband’s elder sister is busy there preparing breakfast. Okay it’s the right time for me to leave the bed and to start a brand new day. What you usually hear when you wake up in the morning? Please share your views here. Thank you.

The sounds of the tap water and the chores of the neighbours who fills the water. sounds of the fan which make little noise in my house. I get up by 5.00am or by 5.30 opens the door only by 7.00 when my daughter leave for college. Happy mylotting and have a nice day.

Hi nini, the crow with black feathers always make the loud and awesome sound standing on the top of the roof or on the tree. Some old Chinese people here dislike this black color bird very much, and they believe it would bring bad luck to them . They always would ask someone to help them to chase away the unlucky bird if there is any on the roof of their house or on the tree. Occasionally I could see one or two crows standing on the branch of the tall tree in my house compound. I always ignore them as I know they would fly away after standing there for a short while. You wake up quite early in the morning daily. 5 to 7am I still lying on my bed . Other than to prepare breakfast I believe you still have lots of thing to get ready before going to work. Happy and take care.

Do you mean that if it’s late and many people starting to open their respective taps at home, so less water would flow out from the faucet? So you have to take the opportunity to collect water during people’s sleeping hours. Yeah, I understand that different people have different belief and thinking. Really there are still many elders here couldn’t accept their young generations to put on clothes in black color during our festive season, the Chinese New Year. In my place we seldom see crows whereas we could see many little sparrows here and there searching for their food hopping on the ground. There are lots of pigeons waiting for visitors to feed them in certain hot tourist sites. People are very good in making money so we can see some stalls there selling grain in small packs for the convenience of the tourists. Visitors could have fun to spend a few pennies to get a pack to feed the birds in the spot. Kids look really excited and happy to feed and to watch the pigeons picking grains on the ground and uttering the “goo... goo...” sound at the same time. Happy posting and take care.

For me there is a problem in getting water. If I wont get up early on that day ther will be a shortage of water so I have to get up early and collect water in all buckets and store it . In India you can see the black crow everywhere and we dont say it is a unlucky bird.Happy mylottiing and have anice dy.

Hi Ikbooi! I hear the mostly the same things as you do. haha..For starters, I hear my husband's snores (can't hear mine though..lol), then the rooster, the chirping of the bird, vehicles passing by and when I go out in the garden, our pets will bark endlessly until I give them a pat, I hear the older ladies and older men chattering while brisk walking together and the other younger sets who are encouraging each other to do more distance in jogging. Wish I could join them but I am too lazy at that early hours. I usually sit down in the kitchen table or outside the garden and think over my schedule for the day--house chores and the business (helping out in my husband's business). That is what makes up my morning sounds. haha.. Take care and have a nice day! lovelots..faith210

Hi faith, I feel happy to know that though we live in different places, still having situation more or less the same yeah, one of the differences is that I don’t keep any dog as my pet. Lol ... I think your pets quite afraid that they would miss your tender and warm pats on their heads so they bark aloud to arouse your attention. You forget to do this before eh! Yeah, nowadays there is much competitions, so it could hardly to live a peaceful life without any worry, for there are so many things waiting for us to think of, to deal with and to solve as well everyday once we open our eyes in the morning. You still could join them to have the morning exercise my dear, if you are more than willing to dump aside all those troubles for a solely a short temporary moment to get yourself refreshed Happy and take care.

You are always better than me my dear. At least you rack your brain to think of how to settle the problem facing in the morning whereas I’m still lying lazily on the bed just listening to what are happening outside. Frankly speaking I’m always indulgent in empty talk more than practical work You are very much welcome faith, I’m a night owl most of the time, so I could hardly try to get up early in the morning to do physical exercise. I still prefer to have my usual jogging in the evening so that I don’t feel pressed to wake up early in the morning. I think it’s not so important to have playtime or exercise in the morning or in the afternoon as long as we feel happy and relaxed to do so. Take care and happy posting

Hi baileycows, I dislike the noise made by the alarm clock early in the morning. Anyway I still appreciate and love it. You know if without it surely I won’t get everything ready before going to work. Even a minute later the heavy traffic would become worse, and I have to spend longer time in the long queue. Alas! It’s really annoying. So the first sound you get in the morning is the ringing of the alarm clock that hastens you to get up and followed by the yawning noise made by your doggy. Seems that he's still short of rest. Happy posting

I hear the alarm clock, someone upstairs walking around, or the dogs. That's it. My neighborhood is pretty quiet. Neighbors here do not communicate or see each other.

Hi redhotpogo, you are another user here awaken by the ringing of the alarm clock in the morning. I live in a single story house land house, so I have never heard the clop-clop sound made by people walking on the floor up stair. The neighbors of both sides of my house keep dogs as their pets. Sometimes I could hear the barking noise made by the little puppy from the left neighbor house. I live in the outskirt of a town and almost all the people here are friendly and helpful. We chat a lot when we meet our neighbors or people at the neighborhood. We know one another very well. Unlike my son, he lives in a busy town and the habitants of the same big building with over twenty floors never talk to one another even if they meet in a same elevator. I wonder you live in a big town as well, so people in the same neighborhood don’t have any mutual communication at all. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Oic! Before this, it is really a harmonious and peaceful place. Yeah, when many outsiders and external investors keep on moving in, and of course the town is well developed, things also become complicated comparatively as well. And there are also many bad eggs with malicious motive lurking in the dark . No wonder people there nowadays dislike going out and mix with others anymore. So I think it’s rather better and safer as well to have reciprocated communication with online friends

Hi Tinna, this means that your husband is early bird in your family. The ringing tone of the alarm clock wakes you up as well at the same time. You are right, the unpleasant and loud noise made during our sleeping time is really annoying. My husband’s elder sister would do the same thing to close the door with an awesome great banged noise. Though she does it occasionally, I still ask her to be aware of this so that not to make such disgusting noise again. But it’s really sad she would do this again unknowingly. I think we should give them to shake away such bad habit. Yeah, mylot is also a best place for us to relieve our unhappy feeling and emotion by reciprocating chatting with friends here. I hope you have a bright and happy sunny day. Happy posting and wish you all the best .

I’m glad to learn that today the weather in your place is so nice and lively! Yeah, let parents in law to know their beloved grandbaby would awaken by the awesome noise made. I believe they love the lovely baby as well, surely they don’t like to see the little sweetie cries for awaking by the sudden banged noise. Yeah, when my son was a baby he would get into a tantrum easily if didn’t have sufficient sleep. Take care and happy posting.

Hi jenisky, it’s really wonderful to know that you have twins and I believe they must be sweet as well as adorable. Yeah, young kids always wake up early in the morning whereas teens and youths tend to sleep until noon. We need not alarm clock anymore as the noise made by our kids at accurate time in the morning would always wake us up at the right time. Right, young kids would cry if they are hungry, or feel uncomfortable. Yeah, we have to wake up when hearing their sound made in the morning and to get ready everything to fulfill what they need. And of course this would follow by doing the household chores that never get done. Happy posting and take care.

Most mornings when I wake up it is either the sound of my husband watching the TV and News, or the sound of him gathering stuff for my lunch for the day as well. Considering we both work days, and both sometimes have Sundays and Mondays off if I do not hear him up it either means I woke up early for some reason, or he over slept. If it is a day where I am sick or he works on a Monday when I am off, I will hear usually either the neighbor above me moving around, or I will hear the traffic outside as well.

Hi Tina, it is nice to learn that you have such a caring and understanding husband always to get up earlier to prepare lunch for you. You are really lucky that you still could enjoy sleeping to get yourself refreshed again. If you could hear the sound of the neighbor moving around as well as the noise made by the passing by traffic outside only, yeah, this means that your husband has gone to his working place before you wake up. I hope that he would keep some delicious food for you to entertain your stomach before leaving for his work. My husband would prepare food for me if I’m really busy with my work, or if I really crave for any of his pet recipe like the hot spicy and sour tuna fish, together with the coconut milk rice. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi cher, it is really a wonderful idea to have 15 minutes lying in the bed to let our mind roaming randomly or to have what the so-called daydream Really! Listening to radio or watching tv to learn the latest news in the morning is really a good habit . This could prevent us from falling far behind this world which would usually progress and change with each passing day in all respects. Yeah, I have learned from one of the responses here that people living in temperate countries couldn’t hear any birds chirping in the winter morning, for all the birds are having their warm holidays in the south. I know not only birds, many people also try to escape from the freezing season by spending their vacation to countries with warm temperature. Happy posting and take care.

If the alarm clock is the first thing I hear in the morning, the chances are as it's still quite early there's not a lot going on outside, apart maybe from some of the local bird population...I prefer waking on my own time with the sound of the wind in the trees, the rain on the window,or just the sunlight brightening the room! There's a secondary road parallel with the front of my house on the other side of a grassy area lined with the trees the birds nest in,so there's the occasional sound of traffic too,but this is rarely intrusive, unless some boy racer is taking the nearby corner/junction at speed..I live in a village in quite a rural area,so the distinctive sound of tractors passing can be heard too..

Hi ShepherdSpy, just like you I prefer to wake up on my own time by the natural sound like the chirping of the birds. Yeah the rattling sound of leaves in the strong breeze as well as the rain falling on the roof would make me awake as well. I could no longer hearing any chirping any more for all the birds have left for shelters respectively. I dislike the morning sunlight to awaken me in the early morning so I usually would cover the window that facing to the east with curtain before going to bed. From your story I come to know that there are different sounds at difference time in your place. From some of the sounds and the things people doing there mentioned above I could imagine how the village you live roughly looks like. If I could I would like to express it by means of a painting Happy posting and take care.

Usually I hear my music playing softly in the background. As I come to life, I hope to hear my daughter moving about and getting ready for school. If I hear her then I tend to turn on the coffee and go back for a few more zzz's. Hearing nothing will cause me to pounce up & wake her. (sometimes I forget and do this on weekends...oops). If all is well, I'll lightly snooze until she comes to say goodbye to me before heading out for the bus.

Hi sid, it’s really nice to set some music playing softly as background, so we could enjoy hearing it and won’t feel monotonous whenever we wake up. Yeah, as a caring mom, we always regard our kids as the priority when come to life. We always would help and guide them to get ready for school. we are quite used to do those things in weekdays and would do it again even during weekends or holidays once in a while. Once I stay away from the bed. I usually would spend the whole morning doing some household chores, gardening work as well as to do a couple of mylot posts intermittently so that I still could eke out a few posts daily. And I would have a nap only after having lunch if I don’t go to my part time work that day. Happy posting and take care.

During the week, the noises I wake up to are my kids when they wake up. Since I work evenings during the week, we don't always set the alarm to wake up. However, on Saturday and Sundays, I do set the alarm because I work in the mornings during those days. I have it set up for CD, but I wonder if the laser has become disfunctional because now it just does that annoying beepy thing that it does. I hate it sometimes.

Hi CRSunrise, as what I know, most of the kids would not keep quiet after they wake up. So we usually would awaken by their noise made in the morning. I always see kids around like to have fun playing and making noise together with their playmates in the morning, they are so vigorously after having a proper sleep, whereas some would sitting still there, seem like they are not really awaken yet. The moms always have to hasten them to have their washing and brushing and get ready to have breakfast. Yeah, we would get really annoyed if the device we have set before going to bed doesn’t serve its function the following morning. So we might be late for work. If we are lucky enough we still could catch up the limited time after a great rush. Happy posting and take care.

Hi lynnemg, if we have set the alarm before going to bed, we usually would get up the following morning after hearing the ringing. I dislike the alarm keep on ringing after I have awakened, so I would like to press the stop button before it stops ringing. I’m afraid that the continuous ringing would awaken my husband’s sister who sleeps in next door. I’m also a big fan of coffee. It’s one of my daily favorite beverages. I won’t feel lazy anymore if I get the aromatic smell of coffee, as I know my husband is preparing the coffee in the kitchen. I usually will get up from the bed straight away, as I crave of it keenly. After washing and brushing, my husband and I will then enjoy the freshly served hot aromatic coffee together with some toasts and fried eggs as our breakfast. Happy posting and take care.

Most times my children are the first sounds I hear in the morning, it's usually them giggling in thier room and I am listening over the monitor. If they aren't making too much noise, I can hear the robins singing in the tree outside my window in the spring. I also hear the noise of cars passing the road in front of our house. Most days I am not a morning person but if I get woken up by my daughers in a good mood, it usually puts me in a good mood.

Hi Crivas, it’s really tired for a mom who has to take good care of her children as well as to deal with so many tedious household chores through the day. This is why a mom always would fall into a deep sleep after her kids get into sleep. No wonder you are awakened by the first noise that made by your children in the morning. How nice and convenient it is to fix a monitor in the room our kids so that we could know what is going on in the room of our kids during night time as we don’t have to take the trouble to walk to the room anymore. Really, we usually would have a good mood through the day if we feel good and without anything to worry at all when we wake up in the morning. Happy posting and take care.

Yeah manny, we usually would feel pleasant and relaxed as well when listening to our favorite music. It is really nice to switch on the radio before going to sleep so that we can enjoy the music on air, when lying in the bed or when we wake up at anytime. What’s more it could help us to fall asleep easily. I haven’t switched on the radio before sleep time for quite some time, as my husband always is afraid that the radio wave might affect our health if keeping contact with it for longer time. I don’t want to make him to feel pressed for this so I only turn on the radio during daytime. Happy posting and have a nice day.

This morning I heard nothing because I woke up so early. The only thing I heard was my assistant's feet walking around my room. The television wasn't even on yet, nor was my cat bothering me. These two things are almost unheard of before I get up. Normally, when I wake up around 10, I hear the TV, which my assistant is watching as she waits for me to get up, or the clacking of computer keys as she types on Myspace or in other applications on the computer. Richard, my cat, is nearly always meowing at me to get up and play with him. This is what I usually hear in the morning, but not this morning.

Hi cripfemme, what sound we usually would get in the morning always depending at the time we wake up. Yeah there is usually less sound when most of the people are still having proper rest in their bed. That’s why you could hear less sound only when you get up early in that morning. So the husband of one of my friends prefers to do his graduate study begins from the late night till the wee hours. He says that he could concentrate on his study during the tranquil hours and do his study more efficiently. You are so lucky that you could enjoy your sound sleep until 10 or so in the morning. I usually wake up around 7:30 in the morning and I like lying in the bed about 10 minutes to enjoy the morning birds singing cheerfully outside the window. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi izathewzia, now I know the sound you usually hear in the morning is mainly depending on the weather. This means that you would hear the sound made by the air con or electric fan when the weather is hot. I believe you could sleep more soundly during cold weather for there isn’t any sound to disturb your proper rest. I usually go for my part time jobs in the afternoon so I don’t have to set any alarm clock to awaken me during weekdays. I will do this only if I have any important personal business to duel with in the morning. It seems that you do not need the alarm clock quite often as well. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi gracie, it’s really cool to keep the tiny guinea pig as pet. This pet is really an adorable little creature. The daughter of one of my friends who is in her elementary keeps a pair of these lovely pets. I was really amazed when seeing her to take the two little pets out from the pocket of her pants when she was playing with anther friend’s kid sitting on the floor. I could see them quite enjoyed playing together with the pets. The pet moved very fast and agile on the bridges and hills they built with toys and books. I was afraid that the guinea pig would die from lack of air, so I ask her mom to get her a proper cage or case to place the two pets in it when going out with them so they won’t get hurt easily. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi sammy, how nice to have two lovely puppies by your side. Surely the joy of sound sleep obsessed you throughout your morning, no wonder Jake and Thunder would bark and hasten you to get up. Or they feel that it is the exact time for them to have the usual outdoor fun in the early morning, but to you, it may be still early yet It was long time ago, my dad’s friend left an old dog at the restaurant, where my dad worked, before he moved to another state. It was a quiet dog and liked to sleep under the table at the kitchen silently. He would bark to people who were not familiar only. Anyway rarely stranger would like to visit the kitchen. I was the only one who always took him to hang around at the big lawn outside the building. It always would show its cheerfulness by wagging its tail and give me a few barks at the same time. Hi Operator, it is actually not a pleasant feeling to hear your parents to have heavy discussion with your brother days ago when you woke up early in the morning. I think you were mostly probably awakened by the undesirable noise made by the discussion among them, if not you wouldn’t wake up that early in the morning. Really Operator, we would rather prefer listening cheerful sound, like chirpy and melodious music and etc that would make us to feel happy and refreshed in the beginning of a new day, so that we would become happy and energetic all the day. However, an undesirable sound probably would make us to feel rather depressed and let us to fall in the low spirits always through the day, and this might affect our mood and the daily routine. I hope you won’t get any unwelcome sound in the early morning again. Happy posting and have a nice day.
