Okay! So everyone knows about Helium and Associated Content...but I have a new site that I have had more luck with. I really like this site; they allow you to post articles that have been posted previously on other sites, and they also accept Videos, slideshows and audios...it's great!
Here are some stats to show how much Ive earned with them compared to Helium!
I have been with Helium for almost TWO years, have posted 48 articles, and I have yet to make even 8 dollars!! I might get to 8 soon but, I think two years is a pretty long time for that little amount.
This new site I have been a member for only 3 months, I have posted only 20 articles (less than half of my Helium articles) and I am almost at 2 bucks! I know it still isn't much...but imagine if I had 48 articles on this site and have been there for 2 more years! I'd probably have A LOT more than 8 bucks! lol.

its like pay for review or not?can you give me detail info friend?and show me the proof?i want to know about minimum payout and how many i will get if i post a review?how many that you got payment?i really want to join if you have the proof my friend..^^

Well you can choose your minimum payout, like here...it used to be 50 but now they've changed it to just 5! So that's a big plus, right time to join lol.
If you can write about more popular things then you'll earn more...I have had the most luck with skin care articles and movie reviews. But pets and animals are also really popular on the site. So if you can write about the popular things you'll have a lot of luck on the site!
I'm not really sure how I can prove to you that I'm having luck on the site

Is it Review Stream by any chance? I've heard contrary reports about them, like how the pay is great - until you get close to your payout threshold, then the problems start. Which is why I switched to DooYoo. ...

I can't understand why everyone on MyLot keeps wasting their time with Helium or Associated Content when there are so many paying markets out there willing to pay you $10 or $15 or $25 per article.
Can you imagine if you'd submitted 48 articles to one of them? you might have earned $480 or if you'd sent them to a $25 per article market you would have earned $1,200.
I can't believe you sent 20 articles to earn $2. That's insane. I can think of paid forum posting companies where you can earn more money than this

I don't know of any sites where you get that much money for one article. And I'm not sure I would have a whole lot of success on them.

I dont think Helium is a big moneymaking site either. I like textbroker better. I think Triond is a good site for writing as well. I think there are many sites that pay well for writing you just have to find them and become a good writer for the site. There are many that are out there and you can find them easily enough.

I've joined several writing sites but none of them pays me as much as Helium, where I usually receive around $100 each month. I only joined one year ago.
I can earn $1 in a day just from page views at Helium. On top of that I get upfront payments. In months when I've sold articles in the Marketplace my earnings are much higher.
I have looked at Bukisa, where but I believe the miniumu payout is $50, but I have not seen anyone claim to have been paid by the site yet.

You make 100 bucks each month at Helium!? I dont know how you do it! lol
Bukisa actually jus changed their minimum payout, I believe it is 5 dollars now--instead of 50! Which is great lol

I hvae been with Helium for around 6 months, have 36 articles on them , and will be expecting my second payout from Helium this month. Bukisa, on the other hand, I have avoided, mainly due to the reasons I have stated in my review here -- http://www.hubpages/_bukisa/hub/Bukisa
I also want to add that you can post links in discussions, so long as those are not referral links. In fact, unless for some strange reason you want to plagiarise an entire article (and get banned by MyLot), MyLot actually encourages you to post a link to said article.

I reckon you are talking about bukisa, which has also a great referral earning package. I posted an article on Bukisa two days ago and it still hasnt even got one page view yet, whereas at Helium I am making 20-30 cents per day as well as upfront payments. Helium is much better for me, but I do love the idea of slideshows and wonder would they get more hits than articles

I haven't made any money from referalls on any of my sites! lol. I have no luck with them! :P
You make 20-30 cents at Helium!??! I can't make upfront payments there because they won't give me my writing star even though I have a lot of stuff on there...thats another problem I have there lol!

I have been with helium less than a year and all I have to show for it is 30 cents. I could say that I do not meet their standards or that I am just a lousy writer. i did get a ranking of 1 out of 1 which means absolutely nothing at all to me since obviously the things that appeal to me don't appeal to other people as well. Yes, you are right, that's much more.
i also thank you for the realistic discussion. By the way, I think that the amount you get depends on the traffic they have, and only on that ... or not ? Am I wrong? Why should another site pay more than another if the difference is not in traffic ?!
